.......Bill Ayers of "Weatherman" fame was Obama's neighbor and mentor in the way of "Marxist Dogma"! So tongue in check, giving credit where it is due, and my sardonic humor says, hummmmm?.........

Is it true that this Bill Ayers fellow killed police and was a mentor of the president of USA when he was an adolesant? Why does the press not say or report this?

He's a radical leftist, and Obama's neighbor and mentor, our media here in the states is profoundly liberal-radical as well and covers for those of their own political bent, while moving swiftly to brand conservatives, particularly Christian conservatives as the devil???

America has left our conservative Christian underpinnings and is racing head-long to get as far away from our God, and His values as they can, tragic but true.

But the cover for, cover up, deny, whatever it takes to promote their own agenda. Journalism is a lost profession, those who do practice journalism are often, black-balled in the media/press???

Very sad my friend. Very sad indeed. It seems to be an illness that is prevalent in today’s society. I heard one of your compatriots on another blog call reporters “repeaters”

My latest health update includes news that my radiation treatments which were scheduled to start this week on the 13th, had to be pushed back to the 20th. The Dr could not get a good enough view of my spinal chord in relation to one of the tumors, so had to get a special MRI (well over 2 hours in the tube) in order to ensure the safety of my spinal chord during the 6-beam proton radiation sessions. Disappointing because I have to say I am ready to get home and sit on the porch with our dog, Lady and have her fetch. If all goes as planned, we will start home that weekend, the 24th.

Once home though, they want me to start some molecular receptor targeted Chemo which I am not particularly looking forward to, but which may help against particularly the tumor in my liver. Then back to Houston in October for two weeks for more radiation.

This is the plan they have come up with and after a lot of thought and prayer, we feel like it provides a path forward that the good Lord would have me walk.

As always, to everyone, family, my co-workers, and so many other friends and relatives who have prayed, encouraged, and helped us...we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and pray God's blessings on you!

Two last comments. The Lord has touched my heart even more deeply about genealogy and I have started more work on several lines my Dad and I got back into the 1400s several years ago. There is a great spirit about such work.

Also, I have recovered enough to where Gail is letting me drive my pickup again for right now, which I always enjoy!

You're an inspiration to those who are suffering or know those who suffer from this terrible affliction. Stay strong and know that our prayers will be with you!

Hang in there Jeff ole buddy. We're all pulling for your fast recovery. Say where can I come and visit you at MD Andersen Cancer Center? It's a big complex with several buildings and I'm not sure where to go?
