Amen, and glad to see you and BD popeye back bruda, the old SDF isn't the same without the full crew, and Mr. Head, we are so thankful to see you back to some health, being down and debilitated is just so hard, but you my brother are probably the bravest guy I know, and you have faced your opponent head on, and you will defeat him in the Life of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Power of His, (and our) "Resurrection"!
Praying for you and your family brother Jeff! our Master is indeed the way, the truth, and the Life!
Speaking of real life, I recently resigned as Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, it has been a difficult time, though it comes as an emotional release, and a financial hurdle, our God has promised to supply all of our needs according to His riches in Glory.
We have an enemy, and he fights to separate us from the Hope we have in Christ!
for more real life, my old black Firebird Esprit suffered a "catastrophic" engine failure and locked up Sunday, though it showed no signs of distress, had plenty of clean oil and coolant? So for the first time in 40 years, I will be building an engine up from a short block, pulling the 350 Pontiac out, and upgrading to a 400.
I hope you guys will pray for me in this endeavor, I am having to do most of the work myself, and though I am a passable mechanic, I've forgotten 10 times what I know LOL!
In any regard the Scripture tells us we will regard these things as a "momentary light affliction" in comparison to the Glory that is in Christ Jesus!!
It is finally raining here in Central Obamastan, this will help the corn and soybeans, as well as the haycrop. We have had the prettiest wheat here in many years, some yielding 80 bushels to the acre, and the straw is clean and bright, just beautiful. Please pray for the Lamb family, as one of my classmates passed away last weekend, 60 years old, leaves behind his wife and four children and grand children. His wife and some of his children are Christians, but he was never taken to church by his folks, very sad, and scary, may the Lord have mercy on his soul.

I am sitting here reading this, feeling blessed, tears in my eyes, I have two brothers in the flesh that I dearly love, the little one my best bud, he's 51 and healthy, the other one I haven't spoken to in around three years?? he'
s 15 months younger than I, so we always had a little rivalry, but he's rather anti-social, and "always right"????
My point is that I love you guys as brother's, and my desire for each of you is that you might know Christ, and that in eternity, we would love and serve HIM together!
Not trying to be preachy, just want to share the New Life that I have found in Christ. I pray that I may be a faithful witness to Him, and a faithful friend and brother to each of you! I hope that when you think of me, you don't see the miserable sinful wretch, but you know and sense my desire for true fellowship, as brothers, as equals, yet me serving you is my desire. I"m not here to judge, only to love each of you, and lift you and your families up to Christ.
May you each enjoy His richest blessings this week-end when we in the States celebrate our Liberty, lifting up our Brother Jeff in particular this weekend, Jeff, praying for you and your family, and your good health to return home to Idaho, and leave your "vacation place" at MD Anderson.
BD, thanks for always being here for each of us, and I can't tell you how much I love and respect you brother, one day we will get together, I will try to get our old 172 up to Cedar Rapids for a visit Bub!

Dear Jeff, Popeye and AFB,
After reading all of you inspirational stories I am moved and so grateful of the generous blessings that God has given me and feel so embarrassed of my complaining and sarcastic attitude when thing don’t go the way I planned. I am like to old lady walking down the street with a tasty ham under one arm and complaining that she has no bread to eat it with.
Jeff “mi hermando” God has some incredible plan for you. I don’t know what it is, but all I can say is that you are an inspiration to strengthen our faith and be trusting in his wishes. He is our creator and loves so much and has made a strong man in faith and in body to withstand all you have withstood.
Gerry (Popeye) you always have the perfect scriptural quote that awakens the soul and focuses the attention on God. You are an incredible shoulder to lean on.
AFB you are my dear brother and I pray that God bless your hands with that mussel memory to complete the mechanical repairs you need to perform. Once you rebuild her consider the name “Espirito Santo”
Sometimes I wish that we could all fellowship together. What a wonderful and glorious praying time that would be. God blessing on all of you!

Yes indeed, Chicago is Obama's adopted home town, and Obama has single handedly turned, the state, into a third world former Soviet Satelite State, which I in honor of OBAMA! I have given the Proper Name of Obamastan! and your beloved AFB lives in Central Obamastan! home of farm heroes who pay their taxes and the taxes of those living up-state in Northern Obamastan!
Bill Ayers of "Weatherman" fame was Obama's neighbor and mentor in the way of "Marxist Dogma"! So tongue in check, giving credit where it is due, and my sardonic humor says, hummmmm? I did indeed lose my Hospice job to the Obamacare re-write of Medicare guidelines for Hospice, cutting reimbursements for all services???
