LD has had a second more serious stroke, his heart attack has complicated treating the stroke, so we are especially appreciative of your prayers and thank you in advance. Pray for Dot his wife and the Honey Badger, who has her hands, and arms full right now. bro bax
Oh, Brat...I am sorry to hear this.

Prayers up RIGHT NOW from Idaho, may LD be comforted and may his doctors have the guidance from above in treating him. May his wife and entire family, including you and your wife be comforted. All is in God's hands...even when we do not understand...and it all works for the best in the end.

May God's Healing Hand, the Healing Hand of His Son, take hold and bless LD and all involved.

No doubt he is my friend...with those honest feelings and descriptions of him from you, I will take it to the bank.

I know my own father was exactly the same on this earth. He has been gone almost 12 years now and not a day passes that I do not think on him fondly and remember the things he taught me.

I miss him, but I know where he is, and I know that the time will come when we are joyously reunited along with my Mom, my two older brothers, and all of our loved ones, along with our Savior and King. I do not fear that day and look forward to it in the good Lord's own time.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, and keep praying for my SIL J has gone back to active reserve, and has jump drill every 90 days. He used to love to jump, but now he has a wife and three kids, and they have had several severe injuries, in fact he was injured on the last jump at night in very high winds, the pilot had to make three passes before he hit the DZ. Large rock formations made it particularly dangerous.

At a little after 9 AM this morning, our 2nd child, Rachel, had her first baby! Out eleventh grandchild.

Myles Chad Severance weighed in at about 9 lbs 2 oz. He's our eleventh grandchild and we are so happy for Rachel, Chad, and Myles. Mommy and baby are doing fine.

Welcome to earth Myles! Congratulations Momma Rachel and Daddy Chase! We are so proud of you and happy for you all!

This is a true miracle baby. Rachel had been unable to have children and then was involved in an accident last November where a man lost control of his car, plowed into a parking lot hitting five vehicles, and the last one he hit was a pickup truck which was thrown into our daughter Rachel as she was entering a store. It knocked her headlong into a brick wall. Miraculously she avoided major injury, though her head was cut open and she had a concision. Blessed to have no brain injury or lasting disabilities.

But then, two months later...she became pregnant and now she and her husband Chad have safely hadthis precious baby boy.

We are so grateful to say the least.

Just arrived back from a three week holiday in Spain. It was one of the things on my bucket list, visiting the descendants of an old family friend who fought in one of the International Brigades during the Spanish Civil war.and returned there to live out his life after the Franco era. I visited Barcelona and took in a bull fight , Valencia, and Granada where I went to the Alhambra hill and visited the palace and the old fort. For a while I wast lost in the c.harms of the Arabic architectural influence of the buildings
I then flew to Berlin/Potsdam, toured in a few palaces etc. Drove up to Frankfurt, stopping off at Nurburgring where I hired a car and did four laps of the track at a top speed of 180kph.Despite having some practise on a computer simulator before I went on holiday , I still found the track fairly tricky with their blind corners. Also the track wasnot that well maintained.
