why isnt the q-5 trainer mentioned in the trainers section?

"Hongdu developed a twin-seat trainer variant of the Q-5 to replace the obsolete JJ-6 fighter-trainer. The aircraft has a redesigned forward fuselage and enlarged tail fin to improve stability. The first flight took place on 28 February 2005."



this page has some details on the trainer. u might have to scroll a little bit.

I am waiting the aircraft to enter service before I put up a new page in the trainer section. it is not clear whether PLAAF will finally accept it as it is only a private funded project by Nanchang Hongdu
