Well that's because the 80's was the best decade in da whole universe you silly goose. Being a kid in San Diego in that decade was incredible especially when you were into military aviation. Every year NAS (back then it was NAS not MCAS) Miramar air show... ahhh goodtimes.
Was there in 1996 - the last year as an NAS. They had an F117 on static display, talked to the pilot a bit.

Let me guess. Price without engines. Only the US does that kind of accounting trick.

Final price including weapons is more like double that.

Finland already has weapons for F-35 and engine was included so F-35 competitors are actually really expensive in comparison. Rafale for example was over 100 million and Gripen was slightly over 80 million so it speaks volumes about manufacturing effeciency.

B-21 project is best example as it took less than 10 years and that's amazing speed no matter how you look at it, all this shows how effecient US development/research is when they really get into it, and only country what could possibly match US is China but thats to be seen.

B-21 has all bells and whistles any country would want from modern strategic bomber.

Less than 10 years to make an airframe for a pre-existing engine. You think that is fast? That is not fast at all.

With regards to Finland's F-35 purchase the Reuters article I linked to claims 9.4 billion USD for 64 planes. That is 147 million a plane. I do not get where you got that price for F-35.

I wonder what she is talking about...

The B-21, NGAD tech is nothing compared to what the US is really hiding. This tech is what they want you to see. Even back in the 80's US had craft with space capability that had capacity for 300 passengers.

"Lunch was with 5 top space scientists. It was fascinating. Space truly is the last frontier and some of the developments there in astronomy etc. are like science fiction except they are real. I learned that our shuttle capacity is such we could orbit 300 people."

Fallen angel technology is what the US likely has when it comes to this voodoo tech. US did admit of having "off world" tech.

he gave a classified briefing to a Defense Department agency as recently as March about the alleged “off-world” vehicles. He also gave classified briefings on retrievals of unexplained objects to staff members of the Senate Armed Services Committee and the Senate Intelligence Committee last October.

Thus far the artist renders were spot on. As to the head on views the tail sections are critical. The B2 roll out NG and the USAF wanted to keep the exhaust ports from being seen. Aviation week infamously rented a Cessna and captured footage from above. So NG during roll out this time has kept her in the hanger.
