Base on overall aspects like avionics, radar, engine, armaments, maneuverability, etc. Which do you think is a BETTER plane in a combat from a distant range?

J-10 or F-16E/F?
J-10 or F-18E/F?

Sorry but read the rules. No XX vs/or YY questions or topics here.

You simply don't ask it. Such topics can never be proven in an empirical basis with real data which has to be classified. So why bother. It will all be speculation and opinion anyway, leading to nationalistic flag waving.

How could any of us here know the answers to such questions? It is possible that new variants have them? Sure. Is it probable? There's no way of knowing. Every person could give you their guess and that's about it. Personally, I'd say the fighter mission requirements may prevent the DSI intakes solution, as those, at least to my knowledge, don't work that well past a certain mach number, which seems to be around 1.6 or 1.7. On the other hand, if technology and budget permits, some degree of supercruising seems quite likely for some future variant of J-10.

Nobody knows the capability of J-10 and its specifications, all stated are assumptions and estimations. China hasn't realsed squat about any of their hardware unless its for export. So right now only China knows the J-10 limits and soon Pakistan too...wondering if anyone here can read Chinese besides the moderators???
