Well here in SW Ontario, we've got some

that are really low maintenance (they find their own food), like the outdoors (no need for a litter-box and all), grow real big, and still purr! And we've got them in two different colours (the black ones are pretty camera-shy, but we've definitely got those too). Any takers?:

I'll go with the sort of cats that do not have the capability to eat you if they find you out in the wild without a fire arm.

Watch it lad, next time I'll find you posting garbage like this and you will be eaten from some take-out box...

I have two cats, Reno & Vegas. Vegas is a Seal Point Siamese.

is it true that Siamese cats scratch the furniture a lot more than other cats . I also heard someone say that they spray everything around them. But still they are beautiful cats.

True enough! But >> My kitty kat does not do those things because when he was a kitten we got nuttered(castrated) and also in the US it is legal to have cats front nails removed. So we did. Both of my cats are fixed like this. Also they never go outdoors. They are indoors cats. I know that to some of you outside the US this may seem unusal. But it is quite normal here. In fact we almost everyone we know that has a cat has an "indoor cat".

Vegas(Siamese) is quite annoying at times. He seems to need a lot of attention. We love him.

Having a cat de-clawed is controversial, but if you do, remember to always keep the cat indoors, because the cat cannot defend itself.

I used to have a white & orange maine coon breed. The cat, from head to tail, is longer than my arm, and probably weight 18+ lbs. For those in the metric world, this long-haired "forest breed" is known to grow (for males) to over 1.2 meters in length and 12 kg in weight.

This breed can also be taught to walk with the owner. So if you want to take a stroll to the park, you could actually walk the cat on a leash. However, the cat does require regular grooming, or else the fur will mat.

Yeah no kidding. They've been indoors for quite a while now. When Vegas was young he would run outdooors if the door was ajar. But he gave that up some time ago...
