This is ridiculous guys. I'm right now sitting at the Dr clinic . And no one dare come near me.

I went to see Dr on a pre-condition from last year. But because I had to say I've been in contact with someone who's been to Hong Kong recently. I'm now in quarantine in the Dr.office while he is phoning around for advise.

I told him is my pre-condition. But my own Dr is not in today. So this stand by Dr.is panicking, and I'm stuck at moment. Gee.
Hope everything will be good. Further, I heard the American experts has found cure for the disease. The medicine is approved to be test on human body. Hope this will work and end the epidemic.

Thanks. I feel like I have leprosy. When Dr. Came to the reception and throw me a mask. And handed the rest to people sitting there. I can sense the horror on their faces (I maybe too sensitive here). But I felt they all recoiled and trying to get away from me. I wish I haven't told them I've been in contact with my sister's who's been to Hong Kong for 5 days returning around mid jan.

If its that bad, then they shouldn't let them through the airport!

yes you definitely have low IQ, when did I ever say the death rate is 20%? back then I only said the total percentage of those who are in critical condition & those who are dead is 20% "either dead or on death's doors".
frankly I think you should change your profile picture, you are shaming that flag because people might think all Chinese are as ignorant as you are.
Why are you keep playing the race card?

Sorry guys. Just noticed I upload three photos. Sorry.

Hope things gets sorted out soon. Thanks for sharing but we know these type of incidence are happening thousands if not millions of times over in UK and elsewhere.

Given the spread and potency of infection from this gentleman,
What happened to the 80-year old gentleman?
Where is he now?
What is his condition?
Why was the Diamond Princess not immediately quarantined and left HK after the 80-year old gentleman tested positive?
Did anyone ever trace his travel itinerary before he boarded the ship until right after he got hospitalized? Who else is at risk?
Did he infect anyone else outside of the cruise ship?
Does anyone have more information on this gentleman?
He dropped off at Hong Kong on Jan 25. Walking and feeling well enough. Of course the Diamond Princess sailed on after that Jan 25 to Keelung Taiwan. Only on end Jan he felt sick enough to seek medical aid, and found on Feb 1 to have NCV. Then they started to bolt shut the barn doors. And quarantine and test like there is no tomorrow. Maybe there is no tomorrow.

We all know for sure NCV can survive for days on door knobs, railing, lift buttons. Presumably, the liquid they came out on evaporated long time ago. And still they lived on.
So self styled boffins quoting other self styled boffins declare not possible for air transmission. Presumably when tiny droplets in air dry up, the virus immediately keeled over and die to bother humonoids no more. NCV therefore cannot be airborne. Especially when liquid dry up, the NCV will become weightless and float about dictated by wind and Brownian motion.
And with no door knobs or surface, they must die.
How nice
No need to think.
Boffins, and spokesman for boffins already did all the thinking.
I think I go pour myself 2 fingers of Black Label as that is more enjoyable than trying to make horse drink.

First of all, I like how you omitted the first part when you are obviously wrong and went to the second part thinking you could salvage it. But unfortunately, you are uneducated and so you just repeated what you said, which is incorrect. 20% at death's doors even by the most generous measure of hospitalization rate (which is incorrect because staying at the hospital doesn't mean you're at death's door) is still wrong. You don't realize the difference between confirmed infected cases and estimated true infection rate. You don't know that when the confirmed cases are in the tens of thousands, then the estimated true infected population is easily in the millions/tens of millions.

Yeah... I have low IQ. Everybody who's educated in virology and epidemiology with doctorate degrees who say correct things have low IQ. You, with no degrees making all incorrect claims from your uneducated logic led by an inability to filter media are the one with high IQ LOL. You think everyone else is stupid and everyone thinks you're stupid; that's how you live life. That's what deep Southerners think. "Fergit you and yer fancy Harvard crap. I don't need to edjumacation; it's all up here." Points to his head with one of the 3 fingers left on his hand.

Please, for your own sake, ask a doctor. Don't try to "science" it out by yourself.

No, because a month being 8% of a year is roughly correct. What he said is incorrect because he did not know that there exists a true estimate of the infected population which is magnitudes higher than the confirmed cases for all epidemic/pandemics, so he basically calculated (if he did at all) the percent of people who go to the hospital out of the percent of people who show symptoms mistaking that for the severe cases/ overall infection. For example, Swine flu's estimated infected population in the US is 61 million while the confirmed cases are in the hundred thousands. And he's funny enough to repeat that and call other people (MDs and PhDs) ignorant when they try to educate him. I really hope he's not Chinese because Chinese people appreciate and respect education; he must have been raised on pure melamine if he is.

LMAO just how much time did you spend writing those two walls of text! did you get triggered or something!

Thanks, it just the weirdest feeling ever. I'm out now, the doctors told me they were just following protocol from the local health authority.

It's strange they won't take my words for it when I said I'm in here because of a pre-medical condition (they have to check it out, and obtain confirmation). Yet, they readily believe me when I said I had been in contact with people who's just returned from Hong Kong!?

This experience together with what happened to us this Sunday on our Sunday Chinese school suggest everyone is a bit jumpy!

On Sunday, when I opened up our Chinese school, I was greeted at the door by our "landlord". He got report by someone who we share our facilities with that our poster was scaring people in our community hall where we share our Chinese school.

Our poster.

Now we have been giving this by our local heath official to display this on our noticeboard in our school. It is the same poster that you can find anywhere in public places in the UK. (There was one in my Dr clinic this morning) the only difference is this is in Chinese only!

Anyway the man in charge of the community hall asked us to take it down as it had already caused concerns to other users. I tried to explain we are only doing what we have been told by local health authority. But alas, no we have to take it down as it is scaring people!

Not so much time. We educated people are used to writing quickly. 3 short paragraphs = "wall of text" at your reading level, ok got it. When you think you might be right based on technicality, you try to argue, resulting in your repeating your incorrect statements. When you realize you're completely wrong, drop the content entirely and call the other guy triggered. Interesting debate "tactic"! LOL
