What is the point of posting this?

Please refrain from posting unsubstantiated rumours.
If you do so again, then you will receive an official moderator warning.

Yes, there are people online posting deliberate misinformation, and there are people posting inaccurate information unknowingly as well.
But it is one thing for us to criticize misinformation and another thing to engage in baseless speculation.

Also, there are always going to be people who are fear mongering for the goal of increasing their profile.

Here are a few individuals on twitter whose outputs I've been tracking over the last few days whose commentary has been quite level headed and useful in helping me get a grasp of what's going on.

Already Western media is talking about how Chinese are filthy and if it wasn't for eating rats, bats, dogs, etc this wouldn't ever have befallen. Perfect cover for re-enforceing racists stereotypes for the ulterior motives of containing and isolating China, and that of Chinese culture, and Chinese ideology on the world stage.

I know, this is a classic racist sterotypical. The MSM slready started on this. But it just doesn't hold water.

China is not the only nation that have exotic meat consumption, nor is it only happens now. So why is it only China that is highlighted?

I remember, when I first arrived in the UK, all the school children pointed out to me that I'm barbaric because I eat dogs!

Nevermind the act that we own dogs back in Hong Kong, and I love them to bits, and have never eaten one or ever will. The facts all the kids think that is because of the exposure to their MSM which coloured their view for the rest of their lives.

Now, I'm not saying that no Chinese eat dogs, but what is true is that Chinese is as devise as any orher race. We have all these vegetarian buddhist. It diesn't mean we are all vegetarians! Likewise in the UK, some people eat game meat, even hedgehog pie! but because we are not fed propaganda MSM, we know it doesn't apply to all!

And now they are reporting the very first case wasn't even from the seafood market at all!

This gets stranger and stranger....

The first person known to have been infected by the Wuhan coronavirus had never visited the city’s seafood market – regarded as the epicentre of the outbreak – according to Chinese researchers, who also called for extra precautions against airborne transmission of the disease between humans. According to the report, the first patient had no exposure to the Huanan seafood market which was shut down on January 1 over fears. The researchers added that none of the patient’s family had developed fever or any respiratory symptoms. There was also no epidemiological link between the first patient and the later cases, they found.

as usual all kinds of theories are out regarding what caused it, however this does not change what has to be done, wether the disease came from a bat, a mouse or an alien from Mars or an agent from another country... when you find that one of your citizens is infected with a dangerous disease he should be immediatley quarantined on day one, his family members & friends should be quarantined, use facial recognition to check who made any kind of contact with the patient & quarantine them too, investigate all the places he went to by asking & interogating him plus facial recognition, if you find out that any of those he made contact with are also infected then do the same thing with them, finaly once you reach a point where all suspects are not infected then you can say "fewh.. the crises is over".
the first case was reported in mid december last year if I'm not mistaken, why didn't they immediatley try to contain it back at that time? Xi Jinping is the president of 1.4 billion he cannot possibly watch over every single person that is why this should be the responsibilities of the local leaders, whenever a dangerous disease is reported, the local leaders should be informed on day one, officials who don't do their job should be punished with capital punishment or at least life in prison.

any one who reads my other comments would know how much I support China (the people & the government) & it's global aspirations, I'm not one of those anti-China trolls who launch veiled attacks against China under the guise of "hey I only hate the government but I love the people".

That person may be the first person known to be infected, but may not the first person or persons infected.
