Never going to be easy when it's a new endeavor. Just keep going, step by step, the experience gained is already worth tons of gold for advancing the aviation expertise in China. When the Americans where already pioneering with aviation a century ago we where hard working but illiterate poor skinny peasants.

".... the state-owned Commercial Aircraft Corporation (COMAC) struggles with a range of technical issues that have severely restricted test flights."

If so, how come COMAC have already tested their 6th plane to date?o_O Please post your sources...again.
If you had opened the link or even read the first paragraph you would have gotten you answer.
It's Reuters, the news agency. Have you ever heard of them?
You know one of the most prestigious news agencies around the world with a reputation of not being biased.
Yeah that is the one.:p

That's your thought not mine.
Unlike Xinhua which is mostly propaganda for CCP, Reuters is purely non-biased to any and all state or organizations. They report pure news and that is why they retain the title of most prestigious.

as a wire service theyre pretty reliable. but theyre now publishing a lot of free-lancer op-eds the quality of which are in doubt to me.

xinhua as a wire service is actually pretty reliable too in their truthiness.

and frankly I have no idea what "pure news" means and Im pretty sure its impossible to be "purely non-biased" because even the driest positive statement is written under a set of presumptions making up the writers world view.

?

The British government secretly funded Reuters in the 1960s and 1970s at the behest of an anti-Soviet propaganda unit linked to British intelligence and concealed the funding by using the BBC to make the payments, declassified government shows.
