As much as I see the reasons for the move to Shanghai. I still think we need to think about the MAJORITY of the populace in Hong Kong is still Chinese patriots like my family. And they deserved better!

And, it could be interpretated as giving in to the scums wishes, because they want ti destroy Hong Kong or bust!

I understand your concern but the majority will continue to hardworking and resourceful and will continue to gain respect and support from all.
Cannot say the same for the pampered bunch. If they think life is unfair, they have no-one to blame but themselves. We had a few of those and am glad they are all almost gone.

Seems more like the rioters messed with the wrong guy.

With all the violence and destruction the rioters have been causing, its pretty understandable for ordinary citizens to arm themselves for self protection.

The rioters have a dedicated propaganda wing, so eyewitness accounts cannot be trusted in such cases since most of those ‘eyewitness’ nearby would be paid liars there to give false witness to help their co-conspirators.

If someone was out to kill people, there will be more than 4 injured, as the attacker would have the drop and can kill at least one person before anyone else knew what was happening.

The zero body count would be consistent with someone who was only using a weapon to protect them self from a mob.

This is a direct consequence of the police’s pussyfooting, as when they cannot protect people from the rioters, people will start sorting out their own protection.

I ain't going nowhere in Hong Kong without wearing a (non-black) motorcycle jacket and strapping a 15 inch chef's knife to each thigh. These rioters don't play that, "Give me liberty or give me death" sht. They run when they know they're about to die (or sustain serious injury).

why doesn't hong kong business hire armed private guards?
