I still can't see it; here is what it should look like.

Try correcting your syntax, particularly the / for the closing IMG.
When I click "open to new tab" it doesn't take me to a direct link of the image but rather to the imgur site with the image instead.

It was the extension .jpg. The original link didn't come with it.

The loyalty pledge to the CCP and then only to the country upended the meaning of "盡忠報國" because the country is secondary to the interest of the CCP. When push comes to shove in a conflict of interest the survival of the CCP take precedence to the interest of the country or the Chinese people. I find such a sense of priority deeply troubling and invariably leads to the detriment of the Chinese people as seen by CCP's historical actions that include; (i)the "Great Leap Forward" when millions of Chinese died; (ii) the 1989 incident when thousands of Chinese died; and the more recent internment of a million people in Xinjiang because of their religious beliefs.

When Yue Fei's mother tattoed on the son's back "盡忠報國", it was a reminder of service and loyalty to the motherland and not to the emperor. How lronic it is to invoke " 盡忠報國" when the CCP's number one priority is to itself and not the motherland.
Ahhh, you have misunderstood this. You thought that loyalty to the CCP before the country meant that they are separate and that the power of the party was more important than the good of the country. To someone who does not understand China and the CCP, this is a forgivable misinterpretation.

What it actually means is to be unified. Because the CCP has its plan to raise China to the top of the world, all everyone needs to do is give support to the CCP and that will be the ultimate contribution to China. On the other hand, some people might be confused, not understand the plan, or have their own plan. If these people believed that they were helping China in their own twisted way by undermining the CCP, they will have, in effect, harmed China. A thousand patriots all fighting each other to try to get their own way to "help the country" will get nothing done, but a thousand silent workers led by a patriotic commander will move the country forward according to plan!

The world is all about momentum and currently, the CCP has the largest momentum on earth moving China to the top of the world by its own plan. When Chinese people put themselves behind this momentum, that goal will be reached faster. Any dissent to detract from this momentum, which is the power of the CCP, is harmful, and the most common excuse for such distraction is confused people who believe that they are doing China a favor by going a different direction, one which they themselves (with their limited judgement abilities) perceive is correct. So... to prevent against this stupidity, the motto is, "CCP first, country second." In actuality, it is "Country first, country all," because the CCP is the brain of the country, and the brain and body cannot be healthy independently of each other, but it is simplified for the masses into a statement that can be quite confusing and alarming for foreigners.

I started hearing rumors of how the rioters believe what they are doing is popular with the HK populace, and have therefore became brazen and started to go out knocking on people's doors canvasing for support and donations!

I dismissed it as rumors, but now this video surfaced! WOW, just WOW!

If that's the case, I had better re-valuate the rumor I heard the rioters are being paid!

And noticed, there's a western "journalists" accompanying them all the time!

I didn’t want to mention it because its pretty obvious by now. Some are lucky paid protestors. Remember the 12 or 13 year old kid that got arrested by police a while back? They searched his backpack and found many laser guns. He was lugging them around for protestors. They used him because he was under age and as a human shield for the PR press. When caught he told the truth that he was paid to protest, for every protest he was given I believe HK dollars $8,000 if he also threw something at police. He said in less than 3 months joining the protest he was able to afford an brand new iPhone with some spare cash. It was quick and easy money for him he also wanted to ask his 9 year old brother to join him before he got caught. He said when times he was not paid he would be given store coupons from assets supermarkets owned by Li Ka-Shing.

We already know that some lucky protesters get free girls and sex to join protests; their initial slogan was “sex and freedom” -roughly translated. Some prob forced to continued joining after being filmed having sex with a minor as hostage after given drugs. Its what triad members do to control you.

I want everyone to view this one video posted about a week ago. In the video there is this foreigner guy stepped in-between the black crowd trying to beat up its victim. The power of that foreign guy calming the crowds make you wonder and then another local guy stepped in speaking in Cantonese saying, “don’t waste out materials”, meaning their gears are being sponsored hence they needs to follow the order playbook.

I noticed that for every video, there are multiple angles of that same incident but the press mostly showed the edited version before the unedited version get out to shape an narrative favoring the protestors first. That’s considered lucky when there are two version of that same video incident otherwise it’s hard to get the true picture out of the whole video.

I forgot to add after weeks of watching youtube videos on HK riots I spotted two clearly paid woman protestors, one acted more like a clown spoke good English prob an oversea paid protestor from the U.K. or U.S. another one spoke well in Cantonese but noticed her wordings are scripted, she comes out and complain every-time the police blocked roads and always asked police to drive her home instead as a rant.

Compare and contrast, is a great example of critical thinking, and helps with analysis of the world around us to make sense of it all. That's what we were told by our university tutors, and now, as a lecturer at my local college, I find I'm asking the same of my students!

So here's a clip from the 1967 riots for comparison! Noticed machine guns, amoured car and sand bags!

And the MSM got the nerve to say HK police is heavy handed!

I'm not sure if this is a "closed group". Please let me know, and I'll try and re-post if you can't access.

This brings tears in my eyes. Kindergarten children perform rising the flag ceremony at their school!

This is why we can't abandon HK. There are still alot of patriots in HK that we simply need to consideted.

I know some of us here are exhausted from seeing all those traitors/rioters antics! And looking to China to take some sort of actions! But what the rioters (and the foreign powers behind it) are doing is to goad China into doing something in HK. So we need to play smart! We shouldn't be playing their agenda!

[Hong Kong people voluntarily clean up the Lennon wall and reprimanded the mob for messing up Hong Kong]

About 20 Hong Kong citizens came to the Lennon wall near the kowloon bay metro station on the 9th to clean up the posted stickers. Mr. Guo said, the current development of Hong Kong is the development of a few generations of people to build up with their sweat and sweat, and urged the radical Hong Kong youth not to continue to beat Hong Kong, to protect Hong Kong and build the " Pearl of the east " to build " Pearl of the east .

While my Yue Fei reference sparked some meaningful conversation (even by Mr. Brumby who previously only posted one-sided articles in "obnoxious" formatting), I think it has kind of run its course and went off the rails (HK Protest vs Loyalty to Party). Back on topic...

The big problem here is that these Evangelical Churches are an almost perfect mechanism for moving slush money. All they have to say is that it was a donation following a televised revivalist meeting.
No doubt these kids are well equipped, well organised, well motivated and with some on the ground, well versed in civil disobedience etc. Clearly there are controlling minds pulling the strings and providing the resources.

Either no one is investigating these, or perhaps the authorities are using these as counter-intel. One thing is for sure, there are many questionable organizations popping up.

Buried behind many pages ago was my simple analysis of a group called FreedomHKG which was behind full page ads in newspapers around the world including NYT. The alleged source of their money was crowdfunding, but doing some simple tracing of their timelime yielded the reality that it was impossible to move the money for an ad (definitely in excess of $100,000, $200,000 according to the crowdfunding site) without money laundering checks.

Another group that was originally posted by Gatekeeper "Britons in Hong Kong" seems like a psych op group.

In this case, I have no circumstantial evidence for this group besides my own common sense analysis
1. Consistency in brand/messaging. The font/logo/hashtags are all very consistent. This is a hallmark of strong organization and likely reusing assets. Members of a more decentralized organization would likely add their own personalizations, font changes, additional hashtags, etc.
2. See the attached picture. That is probably a 10 foot vinyl banner. Such a banner costs a few hundred dollars on Vistaprint. It's not a huge sum of money or difficult to coordinate, but again, you can see the banner does not deviate from the web design. It likely means they have access to the original vector files. This is something I attribute more to organizations again. A typical "rookie" mistake is to use raster/bitmap image files (JPEG), when creating printed work, especially a large banner would become pixelated. Now they might have graphic artists in the group that would be aware of this, but it would be making even more assumptions.
3. This compares closely to the "Russian Meddling Campaign", if you have seen some of those examples, you will see similar slickly produced graphics. As many have pointed out, these campaigns are best at sowing domestic discord.

I would suggest members to keep an eye out to see if there are more similar "groups"

I heard from a friend of a friend from HK, you can call them a "True Believer"
They said they have no problem with PLA intervention in HK because it would destroy Chinese economy due to sanctions.
The other scenario is Western powers intervention (I assume they were not aware of Eight Power Alliance).

I told my buddy, how messed up that thinking is. Destroying the Chinese economy means plunging countless people into poverty, for what? How is that freedom? It would destroy the HK economy too (response was "Doesn't matter as long as we get freedom")

Starting a war over this is even crazier. Unbelievable, you think it is okay for your family (and countless others) to potentially die for your politics! (Though I believe they expected their family to escape to Canada because they are Canadian citizens and have money)

I told my friend that I will give them the foreign intervention they want, but probably not the kind they expect, lol
This picture is not appropriate (and probably shouldn't be posted), but I think it is funny in this context (I don't believe it violates any rules, but take it down if it crosses any lines)IMG_0161b.JPG
