Don't think its a PF-89, I have seen pictures of it and the PF-89 exterior is pretty much the AT-4 but with more circular rims, the dimensions also dont quite match up either. This one looks more like a M3 Gustav than anything else.

Hmmm I am going to revise my thinking here the handle was Missing.
This is a PF89
Note the handle and caps.
This is an M3
Only way it was one of these is if it was broken.
this is the AT4
Which I think looks nothing like the PF89.

A new rifle.
Some new headgears
NO.2: ZTZ-15 MBT.
NO.5: A new type of moduled MRLS.
NO.7: Vehicles for special forces, ATV, 2-man mini helicopter.
NO.10: YJ-18 and YJ-18A(land attack mod)
NO.12: Fold-able long range warning radar.
NO.16-19: PLASSF assets.
NO.20: Unmanned supersonic reconnaissance drones, looks like drone-ized SR-71.
NO.21: Large Attack Drones. One is CH-5, now officially named 攻击二型(Attack-2). The other is a stealthy radar hunter.
NO.22: Comm, SAT relay, recon, ECM drones, and some UUVs.
PLARF got some super cool new rockets.

Below was the banner of Mao's Autumn Harvest Uprising troops in 1927, thus it is the very first banner of the PLA.
Later in May of 1928, the troops were renamed from "Worker and Peasant Revolution Army" to "The Red Army of China's Workers and Peasants", and used the new banner as below.
