Presumably there is more security at the event. Also at industry shows unless there is a a range weapons are normally deactivated. Lacking a firing pin and other methods to prevent the weapon from being much more than a wall hanger without a gun smith rebuilding it.

Would seem questionable to the point of neglected to have real rifles on display just like that. Would you expect some sort of security lock to prevent people trying to walk off with them. Especially with only two employees for a whole table of guns.

It seems like none of the rifles on the table had locks on them. It seems to me more likely that the display was just more ad hoc in nature.

I don’t know but that poster strikes me as... iffy. The technical description in particular it could be a translation error but “Short stroke Piston operating system with Rolling bolt locking mechanism”
HK is well know for there Delayed Roller locking system at the heart of G3 and MP5. the AR bolt is normally described as a rotating bolt. This is as the bolt doesn’t rotate more than a few degrees where a roller moves the bolt of a G3 along a set length.

Again it could just be the transition or writer of the poster not being up in technical terms.

Given the various other grammatical errors in the document I suspect it is just a translation error

There are reasons this makes sense as a real deal.
1) Norinco CQ, an M16A1 that evolved to match the M16 series and then M4 has been in production for about 3 decades now. They have been doing it so long the Iranians cloned them.
2) China is happy to sell such on the export market to nations the US and European states are not well trying to match the latest vouge
3) at the heart of the HK416 rifle is the Short stroke gas piston system from the G36 it’s self derived from the AR18. That same system is commonly found in a number of rifles around the world including the heart of the Chinese Qbz03. Piston AR15 based rifles are not really new the Taiwanese have been building them since the Type 65 in 1976. Prototypes of such were built by colt as far back as the 60s.
“Nothing new under the sun as they say.”
4) it’s been done, piston AR have flooded the market with commercial and military grade. But some th ave takes it farther to reproduce 416 like rifles yet still plenty of demand is out there. At the user level the piston system lends its self to suppressed shorter barrels due to isolating the gas to the piston as opposed to the whole gas system. Some also believe the claims of critics of the direct impingement system. The popular narrative of the M16 still spouted to this day. Old wives tales and half truths.
5)of course the biggest feature of the 416 pattern isn’t the piston, it’s the rail and receiver redesign. The hand guard system on the 416 is quick detach and because of the way it was designed can mount a grenade launcher directly. Something very few other rifles including AR can do. This is because the receiver and hand guard were designed to do that. M16A1 gained M203 after a separate program and the mounting as a result was an afterthought. The same holds true for the modern M4A1 and M320.
this is something the Cs/LR17 seeks to emulate with its Grenade launcher.

Yes, there are so many modern piston AR-15 pattern rifles out there like HK416, CAR816, SIG516, Ruger's 556, Haenel MK556, such that the CS/LR36 is not really in unique company as an export offering.

As an export product it is a natural follow up to the CQ-A, but I suppose we've been so used to seeing PRC gun companies producing rifles that aren't particularly ergonomic or "tacti-cool" that the CS/LR36 looks like a surprise in that regard.

Accuracy International AX. that was my first thought. But AI uses “Keyslot” Key-mod’s kissing cousin. There are replacement rails on the market.
Then the pistol grip is the wrong shape. There is a variant I heard of that accepts AR pistol grips though. Yet the magazine well is separate on the AX well the AXMC doesn’t have those cut outs. So...

Last year the Hunan ordinance indistries showed off a bunch of 8.6x70mm rifles but this looks a little small for that. I don’t recall any of the Chinese Bolt action rifles being in a chassis that close to AI.
