This one's exciting to me. I'm tingling with the sense of opportunity. If I catch someone doing this in Mainland China, I'm not gonna BS and say I'll kill him, but permanent disfigurement or maiming is a must. If someone nearby wants to hold him still for me, I might even carve the words "traitor" or "汉奸" on his forehead like they put a Nazi symbol on the German general at the end of Inglourious Bastards! That would be fun!

Well, I would say calm down. You are over-stating their competency by a long shot. These fools has nothing. Even George Soros was defeated just few days ago. In fact, Soros is so pissed off that he said he care more about bringing down China than about the national interest of the USA. Lol, boy, is he pissed. No need to get angry with these clowns. They don't even dare to say these things in the open.

I feel like the Chinese government has been caught off-guard with the HK protests. This incident shall pass. A rough landing in the CCP ruled mainland because of HK troubles is not in my forecast. But, the CCP has to take certain steps in-lieu of these "happenings". (some may have already been taken; if so, good for them)

1. Strict monitoring of Churches (underground or above ground) and any other religious institutions- Mosques in Xinjiang, Buddhist Temples in Tibet and even the temples in East Coast. But give more importance to churches with Anglican connections. Very big national security threats due to their connivance (overt and covert) with foreign interests who'd want to see a balkanized China.

2. Take lessons from how MSM in the west operates. Free press? of-course. Free press is actually very great - especially for domestic affairs. It will also help in rooting out corruption. BUT certainly won't help national interests. The propaganda in the west is very discreet and is executed with finesse.Something perfected over a century or more of experience. It's not about blocking the unflattering BUT about highlighting the flattering ones. It is about having Editor-In-Chiefs of major media outlets be your faithful Generals in the Department of Propaganda. It is about inserting fake news, hiding some truths while letting slip some. Its an art that China needs to pick up.

3. China needs to insert "comrades" in certain critical levels in all institutions. Comrades who seem like anti-china or anti-CCP upon first glance but are ardent supporters in reality.

4. Tie the Chinese economy and big Corporations with the SOE (State owned enterprizes) so much so that they can't operate without them. Make it hard for private corporations to operate completely independent of SOE network. Rather than coercing them to participate in the private-SOE marriage, entice them into the relationship using perks and sweet deals.

5. Ensure that Chinese citizens are participating in governance. If impossible due to certain factors, at-least project the illusion of participation into the citizens. I don't think it needs to be projected though. It is achievable.

As ironic as it may sound,
God bless China.

How can you be so certain that this was written by a HK protester rather than a Chinese citizen? What does the text say?
Doesn't matter. They are all Chinese citizens; some are patriots who deserve the honor of their citizenship while others are ungrateful thugs who should have their citizenship stripped and be deported... had there been a place that would take them.

Whoever wrote that is not only a traitor to his country, he is a criminal who has committed vandalism and belongs in jail... if the cops catch him before the citizens do.

And in mainland China, there is Skynet, so if the authorities want to catch him, they definitely could. Chinese cameras provide continuous coverage of every street and corner and can follow him all the way to his home. Commit a crime in China and the police will be at your door before you even get your shoes off.

Here's the traitor, Dennis Ho given air time by the land down under. Typical. Lol!

It's funny that just like the recent trip to the USA, these people still be given such publicity, and touted as if they represent ALL Hong Kongers views!

Nothing was said about the fact she is a CANDIAN citzen of Vietnamese descend. She may have views on Hong Kong, just like the rest of us. But she certainly doesn't represent Hong Kong!

Is Joshua Wong also "Vietnamese?"

Hong Kong: Arbitrary arrests, brutal beatings and torture in police detention revealed

A new Amnesty International field investigation has documented an alarming pattern of the Hong Kong Police Force deploying reckless and indiscriminate tactics, including while arresting people at protests, as well as exclusive evidence of torture and other ill-treatment in detention.

After interviewing nearly two dozen arrested persons and gathering corroborating evidence and testimonies from lawyers, health workers and others, the organization is demanding a prompt and independent investigation into the violations, which appear to have escalated in severity since the mass protests began in June.

potentially beyond control, as the force faced renewed allegations of brutality.

Last week saw multiple fights between protesters, counter demonstrators and apparent bystanders on the sidelines of an

which dissolved into pitched battles between the crowd and police, with one side throwing petrol bombs and bricks and the other firing water cannon and tear gas.
At a background briefing for foreign media Friday, a senior Hong Kong police commander said officers were concerned that the level of physical force was reaching a point where they might be forced to use live ammunition to defend themselves or others.
"Our officers are worried that the level of violence has got to such a level that they might have to kill someone or be killed themselves," the commander said. "We have been so restrained but in the face of such violence this pressure has become extremely dangerous."
On multiple occasions in previous weeks, police officers have pulled sidearms or fired their weapons in the air during confrontations with protesters, in circumstances they said were life threatening.
