Type 382 looks odd. One of the faces appear angled. I am not sure if the Type 383 label is being applied to the new radar or this Type 382 variant. The slots for the "L" there should not be for an L-band radar but for the IFF. One of the ECM units there, the smaller one, appears to be the same one used on the Type 056 corvettes.

Russia planned for over 100 helicopters for the 2 x mistral class

China has no where near that number

As a matter of fact there is no naval brigade for rotary aviation

8 x LPD only 4-6 old Z8

Hope they don’t do similar with Type 075

Actually L is for L-band.

I know this issue but if my memory serves me correctly, then wasn't there last year an announcement that the PLAN's Marine Corps would establish its own aviation brigades?

This surely will take time, but given the production rate, the Army Aviation received Z-18s and Z-20s I think it should be no problem at all.

And it is also more than likely that maybe one or two aviation brigades will transferred to PLAN-MC like it was done before with 2 mechanized brigades. In any case, such formations will have to undergo lengthy training period and exercises to be able to operate in amphibious warfare.
