Hong-Kong Protests

Apparently, rioters started to use ms-information as tactic. Those who can't readvChinese. it said:

Scores of people have been kiled at prince edwards station. And the bordies have been taken to china and burnt! Lol you can't make it up. View attachment 53680

We live in a Trumpian world filled with ignorant and stupid people. I would not discount the MSM running with this storyline. SCMP actually has already started it by posting 3 mourners sitting in front of the make-shift memorial.

BTW, She is Agnes Chow, a protest leader, HK Baptist university alumni and a UK citizen until recently. Not your random kid but one of the leaders. Could possibly explain the coordination of activities with Japanese rightist groups in Tokyo.

She is actively demanding that foreign armed forces invade HK.

Couldn't she be strip of her HK citizenship or will the HK British judges not allow it?

"The baptist university alumni"! That says it all. Now, how the hell a foreign religion got to a place of learning. If ISIS started a university, say in the US or the UK. I'm sure they would be an uproar in these countries of radicalisation!

With regards to her UK and HK citizenship. It is perfectly normal as both UK and HK recognise due- nationality. (I'm pleased to say that's ok as I'm one, and so are my children). This is because of my birthrights and my naturalisation by marriage. It is perfectly normal.

HOWEVER, I Believe that if anyone should hold important post like government officials or media empire like Jimmy Lai.

Then they should have to give up one nationality. This is to stop traitors like Jimmy Lai who incite Hong Kong to wreck the place, and face the consequences while he can jump on the first plane out of the mess that he help to create!

I think you missed my point. I call for her being stripped of HK citizenship because she openly calls of foreign invasion of HK and not because she has dual nationality, This is treason in the highest order and most all countries will not allow it. HK system somehow got screwed by whomever if this is not the case.

Could you please provide a translation of what's written on her placard?

Ok,. Its not word for word, ok but here goes.

Basically saying we are being attack,
So we are begging that the Japanese self defence force to come in and protect us.
Better still, if the US and UK army to come and protect us.

Thats the jist of it‼

Thanks but 請求 usually means demand or request. "beg" I think is not quite accurate and you are overly kind.

Using Ukraine analogy, Ukraine have shot dead people like her without a peep from western MSM.
Oh if only outcome can be as good as was in Ukraine.

Caption says: I wish we have a good outcome like Ukraine

Speechless. Wish her dream will come true

This is much more dangerous than I initially believed it was. I thought all the anger was against the extradition bill to a dictatorship (China), but it seems the youth want to have nothing to do with China, hence the continued protests after the humiliating withdrawal of the bill.
If China were a dictatorship, which sometimes I wish it were more of, these kids would be dead already. Unfortunately, they are being allowed to live for now. What you initially believed was wrong, and what you believe now is wrong as well. Hong Kong is so complicated that even they themselves often have trouble explaining how they feel. But there are many factions, with a relatively small violent extremist faction that wants independence from China, among a flurry of other comically stupid ideas like having foreign militaries come to Hong Kong (presumably to fight the Hong Kong police). That you got confused again thinking that these people represent Hong Kong's youth just shows how little you know of the topic. Any fresh information and you are swayed. You made a good post about India's humiliating moon-landing failure because you understand how your own country works; If I were you, I'd post more about what you understand and far less about Hong Kong and Mianland China, which you don't.

The easiest way to discredit a peaceful protest is to infiltrate the protestor with a few troublemakers, who indulge in deliberate violence. Normal tactics adopted by regimes all over the world.
Is that some Indian tactic that you are recommending to China? Hong Kong's a little more complicated than that; you see the British left another toxin in the form of the appointed judges, who would probably not let loose an arrested rioter if his background check comes back from the PRC, and it would get out rather quickly if that was a trend seen in several hundred violent arrests.

The litmus test is whether the police in hong kong remain loyal or merge with the protestors.
Yeah, if this suggestion ever leaves imagination land and the latter were to occur, then we would have a real civil war where China would need to send troops into Hong Kong for a hostile take-over before they try to turn themselves into another ROC, which is not really possible since they don't have 100 miles of ocean to hide them from a 1940's PLA.

Well, yes and no. You see, she cunningly use a different 1st word. If she didn't I would have said it is request or demand too. BUT just that one word made alot of difference. I'll illustrate.

Request = 要 求
But by changing the 1st to "please", it soften it.

Beg = 請 求。

See the difference?

So as a dual national,
1. who will you support incase of conflict between UK and China?
2. Are you fine with your children and you being treated as second class citizens in UK, ie being denied senior posts or important positions in private and public enterprises in UK, as you are proposing for this person ?
3. Why are you a dual UK citizen when obviously your interests align only with china's ? Maybe relenquish UK citizenship and take China's ?

What, is this a kagaroo court already, with all these loaded questions? If I were him, my answers would be take a hike and pound sand. Period. None of your effing business.

I understand China, Hong Kong and India and all normal humans( except those ppl who believe the after life is more important than the present one).
I have travelled to Beijing, shanghai, Ningbo, shenzen, wuxi, etc for official reasons . And this year I was in hong kong during the start of the protests. You are just being emotional on seeing non conforming views. We have enough non-critical Thinkers in Asia, the chinese are considered comparitevely logical, let it remain like that.

This just show you know shit! As manquin already said, the world is much more complex than you little simple mind could ever comprehend!

You are just a simple Indian bigoted nationalist, with simple view of the world. I could answer your simple little questions, but I don't have the need or want to answer for your own gratification!

If I did, it will cause you a massive headace

And by the way, I'm still awaiting your answers!
I am a nationalist but not a blind one.
I have answered your questions above.
Now you need to answer mine. These are serious questions as their basis is whether you would accept the same treatment as you propose for others ?
