Headed to Tung Chung
Protesters at the airport are now making their way to Tung Chung, the closest residential neighbourhood after a tense stand-off with police.

Meanwhile, MTR trains on the Tung Chung line have been adjusted to run at 15-minute intervals.

while reading your first link I recalled when I was a kid I was walking on a meadow and (probably) some older boys took several shots at me from one or two air-guns (the shooters were hiding); the distance was large so it didn't hurt when I got hit (once or twice), but it was scary as Hell

I ran away and disappeared in the forest nearby; I later asked the boys who I thought had been the shooters, and they just laughed (didn't confirm or deny), LOL now

Haha, The weapons and their guidelines were likely made for dealing with an insubordinate crowd. If the manufacturers saw the police dealing with a violent mob lobbing bricks, mallets, and molotovs, they'd say that these crowd control tools were not made for that level of violence; when you need to defend your life against aggression, you need to use real guns and real bullets.

Protesters gather at HK airport despite injunction, ordered to disperse

Radical protesters in Hong Kong again gathered at the Hong Kong International Airport on Sunday despite a court injunction, and police have warned them to leave immediately.

A large group of protesters have gathered around bus stops at the airport terminal since 1:00 pm Sunday.

At around 2:00 pm, protesters blocked roads with trolleys and other barriers, charged at water-filled barriers and pointed laser beams and hurled objects at police and airport authority workers.

At around 3:30 pm, Global Times reporters spotted a seriously traffic jam at Tsing Ma bridge which links the Hong Kong Island and the airport.

Car Park 1 of Hong Kong International Airport was closed on Sunday as radical protesters called on residents to clog travel routes to the airport and stage protests. The airport advised passengers to make use of public transport when traveling to the airport.

Trains to the airport were also suspended on Sunday due to threats from the radical protesters.

The protesters are participating in an unauthorized assembly, and since an injunction is still in force, the protesters may be liable to be charged with contempt of court, according to a statement Hong Kong police released on Sunday.

The police have warned all protesters to stop their illegal acts and leave immediately.

After days of disturbances and violence by unlawful assemblies at the airport, the Airport Authority Hong Kong obtained on August 13 an interim injunction from the court to restrain persons from unlawfully and willfully obstructing or interfering with the proper use of Hong Kong International Airport, the Xinhua News Agency reported.
so let's wait and see

time to give these rioters a "bloody nose" blow? I think that hk police need to be better trained to deter these idle boys. I'm italian and we have seen many people like these idiots in the years. Arrest them and deport them in China.

Hong Kong Police Brutally Beat & Pepper Spray Citizens In The Subway!

Is this brutal enough for you? FB_IMG_1567290500566.jpg

Isn't it funny that those who always uphold law and order, and the rule of law should remained so silent when violence is coming from law-breakers, yet when police try to clear the law-breakers, with less violence than police in Paris and the USA. Then is police brutality! Figures... gee.
