J-10 Thread IV

Quickie

Colonel
I just went through the crashes and that claim sounds rather baseless.

And if an aircraft stalls after such a simple maneuver then it wouldn't fly at all.

Apparently, the TRAF will not be too quick to draw such a conclusion due to pride or for whatever reason.
I think in at least 2 or 3 of the crashes, the investigation themselves admitted that it was stalling that caused the crashes.

Here is another one of the instances. The jet stalled when it made a sharp turn at 2:16. It was a simple maneuver alright.

Hi,

That is a catastrophic failure of equipment---.

It is easier to blame it on a stall to save face rather than equipment failure---.

Pilots smile a LOT!, pilots every where share a camaraderie that supercedes nationality.

very nice post Hendrik, and nice catch, thank you!

and I'm going to be very blunt here, the idea that any one of these guys is not "hammered down" at the merge would "piss them off" to no end, they would be very offended..

when you bring it to the "merge" its all hanging out there, they are NOT holding anything back, its really more dangerous to fly "pulled back" than it is to go "balls to the wall"!
