Remember that news when China requested 17 sets of Russian every-day uniform

Clothing zippers, what an innovation.
Now I got a bad feeling about this...

The Markings, insignia and camo pattern are clearly not Russian. But style is very close.
I am hoping these are just prototypes and that if something like this is adopted it’s for garrison wear. Well a more modern combat uniform is adopted for field wear.
Even the top could be worn as a light jacket wind breaker style.

Side by side comparison with 07 universal. The new pattern seems a lot more functional

It's a lot lot fuglier though, some user on cjdby compared it to the mold growing on his sink lol

I've read that this particular uniform are meant to be work uniforms rather than combat/BDUs.

Work Uniform?
As in meant for wear during non conflict where in the wearer is to be operating in a “safe area” without need of body armor or fire resistant garments intended for day to day operations like maintenance, logistics, Training, minor ceremonial duties? What I would call a Garrison uniform.

Looks almost like a Russians Ration crossed with a Modernized MRE set.
Canned Spam... I mean “pork Luncheon meat” “yellow pears” and energy bars.
The latter swing the descends of Space food sticks of the 1960s.

It is the manufacturer demonstrating its M9 line-up of rations.

If I am not mistaken, the two bags on the other side of the cans are hardtacks, which can be traced back to the age of sail.
