Right after Spain gives up Mellila and Cuetta ;)

I don't recall Morocco being a British Territory in present times. Nor do I recall any benevolent effort on part of Britain to retain Gibraltar until Spain gives up the two territories it holds in Morocco. That has nothing to do with Britain, but if it that is the game Britain wants to play, then Spain would gladly vacate Meilla and Cueta, right after Britain vacates Malvinas, Deigo Garcia, Anguilla, Caymans and Bermuda Islands. One would think that countries would have grown out of their colonial diapers in the 21st Century.

In a nutshell : the USA has issues with the fact Iran maybe doesn't adhere to the rules of JCPOA.

As the

itself makes explicit in paragraphs twenty-six and thirty-six, failure of one party to live up to the agreed terms is sufficient grounds for other parties to consider themselves released from their own obligations under the deal.

LOL.

Govt officials won't allow the release of footage showing HMS Montrose defending MV British Heritage from IRGC boats but here is a decent animated time-lapse of events using open sources

“A foreign vessel smuggling 1m litres of fuel in the Larak Island of the Persian Gulf has been seized,” the station said. “The vessel that Iran towed to its waters after receiving a distress call was later seized with the order from the court as we found out that it was smuggling fuel.”

Looks like there are lot of illegal oil transporters in the Persian gulf, who try to smuggle oil to sanctioned countries , like to EU, USA or Japan.

Incredible, better than a movie script. : )

Even more interesting is the method of Kill.
It wasn’t a hard kill system.
It was a Jammer.

Parked on the flight deck of the Boxer was a LMADIS a USMC MRZR quad side by side (Think a Gulf Cart on steroids) fitted with an AESA Radar mounted on the roll cage, and optical sensor and a Modi II Jammer set derived from a system that was carried in a back pack form.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has seized the British oil tanker Stena Impero in the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian media reported. UK authorities said the tanker had ‘veered off course’ before capture.
The Stena Impero was headed to Saudi Arabia but left the international sea lanes and headed north towards the Iranian island of Qeshm, marine tracking data showed on Friday.

The 30,000-ton tanker is owned by Stena Bulk, and was bound for the Saudi port of Al Jubail.

Iranian state TV reported that it was seized by the IRGC naval units for “not following international maritime regulations.”

London said it was “assessing the situation following reports of an incident in the Gulf.”
