East pendulum reporting that 3 x LHD are under construction

I doubt this since only two can be built in dry dock at any one time

I believe what Henri means is that 3 075s are "in construction" in the sense that:
The first 075 is in advanced stages of assembly in dry dock
Another 075 has recently had its keel laid in the drydock and is beginning assembly
Another 075 may be having its modules appear once they've finished fabrication, and will be assembled in the drydock after the first 075 is launched.

The original rumor suggests that 3x 075 are under construction, and modules are present for the No.3 ship. An additional 3x 075 (base variant) could follow the first batch, meaning 6x 075s total (not 3x 075, 3x '075A') 31,000-32,000 tons is full load displacement.

Based on this rumor, it is speculated that extra time is being taken to fine-tune the design of the future '075A' to be the equivalent of the America-class, with 40,000+ tons full load displacement.

from fzgfzy's most recent post, I think he suggests the possibility of a third batch, while seeming somewhat confident that a second batch of three will follow the first three?

So first is under construction

Second has keel laid

And third has steel cut

Nice and good work

No pause quick launches in quick succession

PLAN amphibious marines will be very happy

No, he suggests the possibility of a second batch of 075s (unknown quantity but probably three ships, #4, #5, and #6) while the '075A's will have to come with the third batch.

Whether or not there will be 3 more base-variant 075s remains to be seen.

So, he's suggesting:
First batch - 3x 075s (#1, #2, #3)
Second batch - ?x 075s (possibly #4, #5, #6)
Third batch - ?x '075A's

No way really?

So this is how I see it

They need to build more LPD another 4 units

Each fleet gets 4 x LPD + 1+1+1 LHD

Which means 12 x LPD and 9 x LHD in total

Imagine the amphibious capability of PLAN if indeed this does go ahead

A amphibious ready group made up of 2 x LHD and 2-4 LPD

Why? China is not going to invade some country in the middle east. And you are the one that said they don't have anything to put in them (no photo evidence).

hmm. Maybe there might be some island they think is theirs and might require a conquest if the island residents don't see the light?

hmm..

be patient - without the Type 071 LPD the PLAN mostly ordered 2 ships of a new class, tested it, made it better and then build a new batch

for example:
Type 051C (NATO code name: Luzhou class) - 2 DDGs built
Type 052 (NATO code name: Luhu class) - 2 DDGs built
Type 052B (NATO code name: Luyang class) - 2 DDGs built
Type 052C Luyang-II Class - The first-of-class Lanzhou (170) was laid down in late 2002 and launched on 29 April 2003. Sea trials began in late 2003 and the destroyer was commissioned in July 2004. The second hull, Haikou (171) was launched on 30 October 2003 and commissioned in 2005.
The third-of-class, Changchun (150), was launched in October 2010, next Type 052D (NATO code name: Luyang-III class) introduced into PLA Navy service in 2014.
Type 001 and Type 001 A - 2 CVs built, pre fly of 001 after testing followed the (better) construction of Type 001 A

It might be so in the past but that does not necessarily true now. Back then the industrial base of China is very low And the brass does not have any confidence with unproven Chinese subsystem and system design
But judging by recent order of 8 Type 55 we know that now they think they don't have to wait for the result the testing the prototype. And industrial base is so more advance. They have confidence that it will work

Beside the geopolitical landscape has changed so much. Taiwan need attention. Can wait for too long the cold war can get hot anytime They need every hand on deck
There is huge shortage of transporter and helicopter carrier
