I believe the Lincoln is probably in the Arabian Sea. From there she can oversee the Gulf and maximize her ability to maneuver and protect herself and her escorts, while coordinating perfectly well with forces in Kuwait, UAR, Qatar, UK, etc.
The Iranian right now are looking and sounding a lot like those of the mid to late 1980s when Reagan approved Praying Mantis.
