When was it EVER in fashion for anyone to post anything "negative about China" in order to be seem non bias and balance? o_O The bottom line of the argument here is the narrative from the many western media is to paint Communist China in a negative light, therefore you have many people defending China in order to give it another point of view. Many western media felt threaten by the rise of Communist China as the new super power because it would diminish their Judeo-Christian belief system, therefore the end of it. Many can't seem to understand the changing of the times and have difficulty adjusting. Communist China is no threat to anyone other than those whom has been railing against anything communism for the last several decades only to find out that it has uplifted 800 million people out of poverty and another several hundred millions more into middle class status. That feat alone has never been achieved before in human history. That accomplishment could have never been done if China had adapted a western liberal democracy system.

so i post something about US still dominant in PC due to its chip, hopefully china can find talents to make up the short coming etc. then what i get is bunch ppl start calling me anti-china and negative. if you read my post DID i EVER EVER say anything thats bashing china/or called can't invent etc.

what happen to objectivity and in between. ppl say i'm negative on china, but yet cant find a single post where i bashing china, really!!

Objectivity like the rule of law is very subjective There is rule of law for SCS but there is no rule of law for Chagos island even thought the rule of law on SCS can be question since it is not ruling by ICJ but private arbitrator
Yeah You never say it outright but by quoting all those China basher you show your color.
"China will be in the hole because of embargo" or "stop in it track". " China always be inferior to the west"
"There is no fairness in this world might make it right"
Even Lee HsienLoong Pm of Singapore socalled honorary ally of the west speak up this time around and he say it is not possible or wise to contain China or prevent her rise

Over their two-hour talk, he says, the agents were less focused on national security issues—say, espionage or trade secret theft—than on the more soul-searching subject of loyalty. They wanted to know, in effect, are you now or have you ever been more committed to curing cancer in China than in the U.S.?
Yup, like I said after the Emory incident, the US is in panic mode; it's sending agents with no scientific qualifications to ask nonsense questions out of the sheer desperation from not knowing what to do as they see Chinese science speed up to overtake American science. This is Cultural Revolution USA; soon, they'll stake FBI agents outside of Chinese supermarkets asking people, "Do you prefer baozi or cheeseburger? Is red or blue a better color? If a man named Wang and a man named Smith both wanted to be your friend and you only had room left in your life for 1 more friend, who would you take?"

The last page of discussions has nothing to do with China's semi-conductor strategy. Please return to topic or I'll be locking thread.

how about quantum cpu design? That's the same of conventional semiconductors? It's the future of informatics or not? China is well poised in this field?
