I am currently unable to locate an older comment made by Deka Ironwork Simulations regarding their development for "Digital Combat Simulator World" and more specifically their upcoming JF-17 release, but I definitely recall one particular developer working on the project mentioning its flight model will be accurate within 3% of the real deal JF-17 Block 1 variant.

Pakistan AirForce to induct 12 JF-17 Block II And 26 JF-17 B Dual Seat in Air Force. PAF original plan was to induct 50 Block II initially but ordering 12 more will make it 62...

I really look forward to reports on how the JF17s performed against J10s and J11s during exercises with the PLAAF.

Maybe it’s wishful thinking, but with BLK2s now entering service in numbers, and BLK3s just on the horizon, hopefully the PAF might feel they can afford to release some insightful details about the BLK1’s performance.

The Pakistani Air Force seems to be going all out on their JF-17 investment. We will see how it works out.

Yup, looks like they are going all in. I think it's a wise choice given the constraints PAF has but everyone has constraints, it's just in varying degrees. Quantitative edge has a quality of it owns especially in the hands of many good drivers which PAF is not lack on not to mention facing a potential force that has numerical superiority. I think the biggest edge is the JF17 affords the PAF domestic production capability instead of relying on foreign sales.
Operationally it'll most likely also be use for nation defence or cross border interdiction/strike where stealth may not necessarily be needed. Good vehicle kinematics, relatively inexpensive to produce in numbers, good radar and ability to carry modern ordnance are all that's needed in this case. To me the JF17 is basically like a domestically produced F16 for the PAF.

The problem is we're not going to have a quantitative edge, or a qualitative one, in terms of equipment. Overall, the Thunder will be up against a higher number of better aircraft, and let's not forget the S-400. Strategy and Tactics can overcome this to a point, but we're not going to close this gap without fixing our economy and R&D.

PAF needs a fifth gen to close and exceed the qualitative gap which allows it to neutralise the quantitative gap. Unfortunately fifth gen is expensive to acquire and even more so to develop as an independent or joint project. The thunder is good enough going up against most airforces. Truth is few airforces on earth have even good numbers if fourth geb fights.

A single J-11B won against two JF-17s during the Shaheen exercise last year.
