You are avoiding literally everything and focusing on a small insignificant detail. The point is, the world is telling a county to relinquish a territory and that country will not. Give me an example of a country that has given up sovereign territory by any "international tribunal."

Regardless, the issue of sovereignty doesn't change because of translation or what one party claims is the status to justify its actions.

This is what you're down to? That's your opinion; nowhere in the world is there a rule that if anyone disputes sovereignty on your territory, you lose the right to build on it. Anybody can dispute sovereignty on anything. China can dispute ownership of the entire Australian island right now if it wanted to and that, by your logic now means Australia can't build anything on its own territory anymore cus it's all disputed!
See? You need to learn flexible thinking and not just eat propaganda that your media feeds you. This logic, I don't know if it is some part of Western logic, the logic of your country, or your personal logic, is completely nonsense and accepted by nobody but you continue to regurgitate it. Not only that, claiming that a court has the right to adjudicate a decision on something that it does not have the authority to do so in the first place because the decision supports their desired position is the type of logic of a Trumpist/right-wing extremist to begin with.

Your logic is an international tribunal cannot adjudicate but China can simply by fiat claim sovereignty. That is rich in reasoning.

The reasoning is that nobody ever listens to an international anything when it tells countries to give up sovereign territory and you've never provided an example of otherwise despite being asked many times. And this is setting the bar really low because what I should be requiring from you is an example of a rising or reining superpower relinquishing territory for an "international triunal." There's no reason whatsoever that China should be the first.

Hey, nobody guaranteed you could keep up. I know this idea of free thinking beyond eating propaganda is new for you so you can take it at your pace.

1) some people are so biased that they think evil China cannot do any good, and so must be stopped and contained before it's too late. but OTOH, USA is a beacon on the hill, a shining glory that God has placed on Earth to govern the whole world. So if Uncle Sam wants to kill you, it must be for your own benefit. that's their logic
2) you cannot wake up someone pretending to be asleep. They won't and they can't listen to reasons and sound arguments.
therefore, just state your case and move on.
