Z-10 got rejected is expected even by the Chinese themselves, but what the latter actually valued the most is not the (im)possible deal, but the evaluation report which comes at the end of the selection trial. The partial results could be seen in the Z-10ME debuted during Zhuhai Airshow 2018. Won't expect Z-10 wins in the end if I were you, as the Z-10 has yet reach the "definitive model".

Now anyone still say that Z10 is under power look at this via LKJ86

Look, it's essentially a nudist doing gymnastics.
I wouldn’t say “a nudist doing gymnastics” as a gymnast generally doesn’t wear much more than a spandex leopard which is very light weight well performing. A better in my mind would be comparing a light pickup truck with just a driver to the same pickup truck with a fully loaded bed towing a airstream camper.

The loop was meant to be demonstration of power. And why Z10 should do the loop with all the gadget and missile They are not fighter jet. Their job is to shoot and hide and do it over and over again
They are not designed to dodge fighter jet. So your definition of power is way over top and unrealistic
We now know that engine power is increased to 1200 kW and it can do the job as I described above with 8 AT missile and rocket pod good enough Remember this is mid weight attack helicopter the same class like Augusta Mongoose or Dennel heli. It meant to be cheap so that it can be produced in large number. Gold platting is not required!
It has full suite of EW so adding heavy IR cowling is unnecessary

What you mean they don't have ECM here it is

together. The system is designated YH-96 (YH = Yu Huo, 浴火), named after the YH radar. YH-96 is claimed to have a high interception rate of hostile signals, and in the fully automatic mode, it can automatically analyze the threat and launch different decoys and jamming signals accordingly. Alternatively, pilots can choose to launch decoys or jamming enemy sensors themselves. The helicopter also has an infrared jammer.

system of Z-10 is specially designed to work in an environment of heavy enemy jamming. All internally mounted jamming and decoy launching systems are built with the concept of modular design, so that they can be readily replaced when newer technologies become available.

Even fighter jets don’t do air shows loaded down at most just a smoke generator. Fifth gens are the exception as they integrate large parts of such into there naked configuration.
Fighters in combat missions are loaded up but before air to air combat they drop extra weight like drop tanks.
The Point @MwRYum was trying to make though is that although the roll is impressive stripped down like it is it doesn’t prove it a powerhouse. And it needs power as that is how it avoids getting shot down or operates at hot and high like the Hindu Kush.

Hi AH1Z looks like not getting released from USA govt
T129 stuck because of engine issues as it seems Americans won’t let turkey export t129 without their consent
Mi35 is purely for coin operations more towards manning the cross border terrorism
So hopefully Z10 is very much on the cards as being without any strings attached or any other issues
That’s why PAA aviation is still evaluating it according to their desired conditions in Pakistani environment
Thanks
Combat aviation will remain a valued force multiplier for Pakistan, given extensive employment in Counter Insurgency operations and threat of Indian armour along the Eastern border.

A constant drag on import of high end Chinese equipment has been metallurgy. Weak metallurgy handicaps aircraft engines as well.

Z 10 apart from minor issues had problems with:
a. Engine reliability
b. Cannon life & reliability

Seems both the issues are being resolved through continuous evolution of industry. In the evolving geo politics of the region Pakistan will look towards developing interoperability with PLA. It seems a Chinese gunship will finally come to Pakistan.

Actually, the F/A-18E/F often performs at airshows with a decent load.

Here is the pic of Z10 with full suite of weapon
*** Pic1
*** Pic2

1st Pic - This is one of the handful of Z-10 in service that actually carries the original sensor suite of the prototypes powered by the Pratt & Whitney turboshafts. Maybe they transfered the PT6C-76 in the prototypes to these few Z-10. This is an exception rather than the rule. All subsequent Z-10 had to get rid of the advanced sensor suite BECAUSE they were underpowered.

2nd Pic: This is the Z-10ME which has better engines and even they don't carry the full sensor suite.

It is not just the sensor suite, even the IR-suppression messures in the prototypes are missing. Yes, it IS underpowered.

NO it is NOT according to Henri K
One detail had escaped me on this Z-10 attack helicopter that appeared in a Chinese TV report: Its engine compartment is now protected by a side shield. The power of the motors should have been improved to support the extra mass.
