Lenovo now is biggest China "tech" company that didn't touch by US whatsoever. Like Huawei, it made system and used alot of US components. It could install backdoor, spying software but US didnt level any of charge on Lenovo.
It sell tons of system to US market, banking system and government units.
Why US didn't touch Lenovo at all?
Because it clearly spells out it will not develope it's own chips not use any Chinese chips.

US like that alot, it praises Lenovo as some sort of US agent. It wants to set Levono as a shining example for Chinese firms. try to develope chips like Huawei, you gonna be killed. And if you want to make a living then try to be Lenovo.

Maybe in the future more Chinese companies will be like Lenovo, play safe and won't be prosecuted by US.

Huawei so far is the only Chinese tech company heavily persecuted by the US.

Has Oppo been touched? Has DJI? Has Tencent? Alibaba?

Can you name one of their product in US market?

Name one chip DJI and Oppo develop?

Even without chip, DJI is banned in US government

Alibaba and taobao as black listed identity as seliing pirated goods.

In general, US trying to maintain its Semiconductor leadership, it look down upon most Chinese e-commerce and software companies. US doesn't care about those Chinese companies

BBK Electronics (Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus) maybe Qualcomm's biggest customer now. Xiaomi, who also makes Pocophone, is another big Qualcomm customer. Lenovo is a huge Intel and nVidia customer.

As long as they dont make any chips, they wont be prosecuted.
