Omg yes china said that . so did French yet their oil company still decided to withdraw from Iran. You want china to challenge US in middle east for Iran? Especially china is not rdy yet
Oh yeah.
Not ready to directly militarily challenge US but everything else is.

In Chinese news channel, the tankersbflying Chinese flag, and US Navy let it through and only blocking Iranian flagged ships.

Also theres rail line between inner Mongolia and iran.

What are the prospects of a China(Xinjiang)-Pakistan- Iran Oil pipeline? Since China has built a road connecting pakistan to xinjiang, I think a Two lane oil pipeline wouldn't be impossible ?

What do you mean 2 lane oil pipeline? Do you mean one going in each direction? There were talk of building a pipeline from Iran to China via central asia before. But Pakistan and Iran have their own issues.

There have been projects for decades to build Iran-Pakistan-India pipelines. They have always been sabotaged by the US who typically pressure Pakistan into cancelling those projects. India and Pakistan have massive energy requirements. India in particular could use Iranian natural gas and oil.

One parallel smaller one for maintainance . I'm talking about an underground oil pipeline that'd need to be protected from the frequent avalnches and landslides .

Most pipelines are underground. Maintenances only take up 2-4% of any facility life, typically every 5 years. No need for twining.

The region is um...."volatile". The pipeline would have to pass through the Baloch part of pakistan to get into Iran. I'm fairly certain that multiple attempts to sabotage the pipeline will be there - maintenances would be very likely to occupy a larger percentage of service life. (Hopefully not)

If someone want to bomb a pipeline, twining won't help.
