But, seriously, there is no operational interest in having the same helicopter on a type 055 and a type 901, unless you imagine that the only purpose of a helicopter is to provide logistical support.... And in that case, why a Z8 (C or not, I don't care…)
Yes although I agree my point was that Type 055 needs twin medium sized helicopters and even rotary UAV
It’s a billion dollar warship and small investment in helicopters will ensure the warship survives
China should have had a certified new generation helicopters for these warships, ultra-long range ultra-long endurance
Not only for this warship but all the other ones that are coming online, the Z9C is basically a toy utterly useless
Ones that can sweep the ocean with powerful sensors and radars
I don’t know why China saves money on silly things like this while building 10 of these
Bit like taking off CIWS to save money while building a warship, and we know that’s been done
PLAAF builds aircrafts and lacks engines, PLAN builds warships and lacks rotary wing
