Chinese Engine Development

You're right, I think. The guy in the back row is actually standing behind the engine, as indicated by the shadow of the engine covering his forehead.

I think this is the actual WS-19, guys.
What’s super interesting to me is that the nozzle seems to look like that sawtoothed TVC nozzle animation we saw at last year’s Zhuhai.

The main reason we know this should be ws19 and probably not ws10 variant or ws-15 is because of the article saying the team is from 中国航发涡轮院 AKA institute 624 located in Chengdu.
Both WS10 and WS15 are projects undertaken by Institute 606 in Shenyang.

Some also recognized the head of the project as Huang Weina, who is supposedly head of a "medium thrust engine" development team, but i have conflicting sources on that.

The engine is actually directly above the group of people. In fact at least one person is standing behind the engine.
First guy to the right actually looks to be standing right in line with the engine. The engine nozzle width at its opening looks to be about half his height. Given the size of that guy’s head relative to the length of his torso and legs, my guess is he’s probably around 5’5” (66 inch), which makes the engine nozzle about 33 inches wide, or 83.5 cm.
