This really is surprising. China already exporting its best BVRAAM indicates both huge amounts of trust in Pakistan and that the next gen BVRAAM is coming along as well.
On the battlefield, this missile really might be a game-changer. I wonder if the PAF would rely on the ZDK-03 to make use of its full range, or if they are somehow rushing AESA integration...

Not so fast, there was no photo evidence, and these ones are still a little suspect because of how low res and compressed they are, especially the second one. If PAF did get them then great for them, but I'm still a little skeptical on PAF getting PL-15 because it seems too big on JF-17 and there is hasn't been any records of PL-15 being offered for export that I know of.

Remember, when I shared the same news (post # 4151/2) last week, at that time one pseudo intellectual jumped on the gun & quoted my post a NONSENSE...
Let us wait for clearer & more authentic confirmation. I have my doubts about this too.

If PAF does indeed have advanced BVRAAM like PL-15, then they'd better keep it a surprise because India can out-spend Pakistan any time and get better hardware. Making a needless show of strength would not be productive.

Off topic:
In Soviet times, when Soviet VVS got it's new&shiny 4th gens, similar views led to a creation of two absolutely identical lines of missiles:
R-27 family for mig-29 and R-27E family for su-27, with latter being much heavier and more energetic, but otherwise exactly same.
Almost immediately it became obvious, what it is outright stupid: A2A configurations aren't that heavy to begin with(and difference in drag was negliable). So industry just created a difference for the sake of difference.
Now, back to the JF-17.
For external stores, PL-15 is just a better missile with more energy, lighter electronics(almost 100%) and (most probably) a newer, more modern seeker. Even if you can't use it to its full aerodynamic range, which is not that useful for JF-17 to begin with.
It is more complicated for internal storage, but externally... if you can use PL-15 - use it.

What would india buy anyways?

K-77 is the Russian analogue to PL-15, but it’s still under development.

Although I suppose they can “defeat” the PL-15 by simply having more fighters than there are PL-15s.

I don’t really believe the sale rumors. Pakistan doesn’t even have PL-12, they have the export SD-10A. Why would they jump to getting the non export version PL-15?

The notion of below post was, people shouldn't jumped on the gun & quoted someone's post "NONSENSE"

You simply do not understand and therefore take this as a clear warning: Stop posting BS without proper source - a tweet or FB is not reliable per se - and even if might be wrong in this case, your repeated direct personnel insults are not the same as calling a certain pots nonsense.

In summary: Indeed I'm surprised and if true I will surely admit my failure and I will apologise not only for my (then) wrong and too quick conclusion as well as for my probably too harsh words.

However by now I remain skeptical and since both images are too small, too grainy a too blurred I'm not sure if PSed.
