Some highlights:
1. DDG 131 is confirmed in service, marking the 10th 052D ship assigned to PLAN. All these 10 ships were built in Shanghai. The 3 Type 052D destroyers in Dalian are all completed but yet to be put into service. This is somehow strange considering the fact that the 'oldest' one in Dalian was launched 3 years ago. DDG 131 belongs to The 6th Destroyer Detachment, Eastern Fleet. This detachment, with the name 'Iron fist', also holds all the 4 Sovremenny-class destroyers in China.
2.There have been 19 052Ds for now (including those under construction), which can be divided into 4 types: 【With calibration assistant measurement antenna (which is labelled in the picture below)+730 CIWS】（*8）,【Without assistant antenna +730 CIWS】（*2）,【Without assistant antenna+1130 CIWS】（*3）,【lengthened】（*6, of which 2 launched）
3.The 10th Destroyer Detachment, Northern Fleet is now the only destroyer detachment without any modern destroyers built in the 21st century. All destroyers in the 10th detachment are outdated Type 051 (That's why in China watchers like us, as well as some navy men, call this unit 'the nursing home'...)
