PB19980515: "I don't know about the specific data, but the design focus was to keep its range as large as possible (it uses a double-pulse motor, which means that it uses new propellant as well) as well as to enhance its fit."

The rest of his posts pretty much corroborate previous rumors that the J-20 can fit four PL-15 missiles or six of the new medium-range AAMs (PL-20 according to other sources) within its internal bays. He also mentions that the length will not change much (from PL-15 to PL-20 presumably) but the missile will adopt new rudders & new missile body.

PB19980515 also states that the new missile has undergone wind tunnel tests.

I was a little concerned about that myself Siege, LOL? Actually I'm surprised they didn't invite him for a factory tour at Chengdu??

Most likely it is a fake, but good representation of what the J-20's potential load out could be.

J20 showed that although its a 5th generation stealth aircraft it can still pull like a 4th generation aircraft

meaning it can still engage in a dog fight

F35 has been plagued with dog fight rumours, many reports say that it struggles against F16 and F15 in WVR

basically if F35 has to dog fight pilot has done something wrong

J20 seems to excel in both areas even although its 5th generation, good move

But J10B TVC showed how bad ass it really is

Unfortunately it is a fake/PSed photo from a year ago. , the photo is somewhere in the middle of the series.

F-35 is also a good dogfighter at least in terms of aerodynamics if you watch its performance during the Paris Airshow. It could even perform post-stall maneuvers like the falling leaf. The main problem with the F-35 is that it couldn't fire the AIM-9X from its internal weapons bay until lock after launch capability has been integrated. In the mean time it will need to carry the IR missiles on external pylons, which will increase its RCS.

F-35 is optimized for the subsonic regime, which is where most of dogfights happen.

“Subsonic” isn’t one regime (the specific range of flight speeds and altitudes do matter), and dog fights don’t happen in just one regime. Which regime a dog fight happens in depends a lot on the approach speed, altitude, and tactics.
