as kurutoga wrote, they are PL-15s and PL-10s respectively.

And yes, they should be training missiles

what is the main reason to put 2x PL-10 not inside the side bay ?

What is the estimated range of the PL-15? 200 km?

that's what's been thrown around before. With dual pulse motor as well, which should improve end game kinematics vs normal single pulse motor

In combat mode, the PL-10 can be raised outside temporarily (by a particularly designed missile mount) to reduce response time when it is actually fired, and maintain the integrity of flight surface at all times. This is supposed to be one of the visible innovations of J-20.
