The 2nd and new Chinese aircraft carrier, docked for 63 days after its last outing, has left the berth of Dalian this Sunday, October 28 for its 3rd test campaign at sea.
Very early in the morning, journalists and amateurs, who had learned of this departure through a maritime notification from the local authorities, saw officers and sailors from the Chinese navy patrol the flight deck of this ship. 60,000 tonnes.

As for the area of this third test at sea, it is located at least 100 km southeast of the port of Dalian, almost the same as for the first and second tests. According to LN-0234 notification from the Liaoning Province Maritime Authorities, this no-go area will be closed for 10 days, similar to the previous exit.

While institutional sources in China reveal little, if anything, about the progress of the program of this second Chinese aircraft carrier, the statistics allow us to assume that there would be no significant delay the tests compare to the test that the aircraft carrier Liaoning had led at the time, at least so far.
Indeed, there is an interval of 168 days between this third exit to the sea of the new aircraft carrier and the first trial. Liaoning , meanwhile, had 132 days between the two events in 2011. Remember that the aircraft carrier Liaoning was admitted to active duty by the Chinese Navy thirteen months after his first trip to the sea.
We therefore maintain the forecast that this second Chinese aircraft carrier will join its navy before September 2019.

If memory serves, the Z-9 is a variant of a French chopper. Definitely european anyway.
