Sl? I don't remember what Sl stands for, but China isn't the US or UK.
Is it me or does it seem like this was rushed? I remember seeing closed up pix of Russian/Indian hulls vs. Chinese/Korean hulls, and the Russ/Indo hulls had thick amounts of solder and the fit and finish on the hull was bad. I don't remember seeing much lines on the Chinese/Korean example. The look on 071's hull, along with the (apparently) rushed build makes me wonder if they decided to do a "UPS" (If you know what I mean, cheap, fast, but don't deliver fragile things on it.) on this job......

Sumdud, the only way to test the quality of the build of the ship would to see it up close and persoanl. Anything less than that is a guess. If I could see the welds(solder) on the hull closer I could give a very rough estimation of the quality of the ships build. To my eye it looks well built right now.
