I'm curious if the uniform there is in the same family as the so called Type 17 mentioned in the CDF blog earlier this year:

But we've not really had any good clear pics of what the so called Type 17 may look like yet and I'm terrible at judging uniforms and body armour.

Kind of odd to have use a SMG in a border patrol exercise, unless they will travel into tight/urban areas.
