I doubt this picture was taken on May 11th. My guess is that this was an earlier picture when H-6K encircled Taiwan without PLA fighter jet accompany.

Su-35 was accompanying H-6K during May 11th encirclement. But releasing picture like this can give some people the needed psychological boost.
