China's strategy in Korean peninsula

We all know NK couldnt develop nukes / do half the stuff they do without China's help, this is open knowledge. Do you want a pentagon source or something ? I realize China was acting in it's own best interests at the time, and has continued to since then, and because of that, NK has remained the Hermit Kingdom.

I do not just blame China's actions in the Korean war on the lack of development in NK, I blame China's continual meddling as China has developed quite nicely since then, and so could NK if China didn't keep it in this permanent buffer zone holding pattern.

It is because China is deathly afraid of having U.S. Marines on it's doorstep, that North Korea has been denied reunification with SK, and denied a modern, developed economy. Beijing has been pulling the puppet strings in Pyongyang for decades, please don't try to pretend kim just decided to go to Beijing on a whim.

I don't think in Chinese interest that NK have a nuke

I'm sorry, but you may as well not reply if you cannot have a civil debate about something you don't agree with, all you did was insult me, you didn't even refute my argument at all, which makes it even more valid. 再见傻逼!;)

China's not the only country with nuclear tech, as a matter of fact, China's not even the only country the borders NK with nuclear tech. If China helped them, they wouldn't take nearly so long to develop advanced ICBMs that can reach the US.

Let's think about that now... (not that anything in your posts indicates that you can think) why would China want a buffer zone?... Why would a country want a buffer zone against a global terrorist military trying to encroach on its doorstep?

To be honest, land warfare is China's forte; if it were reversed and China stationed 10 million reserve troops in Mexico, the US would probably have nukes on panic trigger aimed at the area including parts of Texas. Once again, NK is denied a reunion and a modern economy because a nosy old superpower desperately clinging to power sent its troops 10,000 miles away from home to try to impede the development of the next rising superpower. The US is the only reason that NK is the rogue regime that it is.

You misspelt "stupid."

You didn't start a debate, lmao. You threw out an assertion that came from your ass.

That's not a debate, that's called crap-slinging, which is fitting conduct for you, I suppose. However, I must congratulate you on being the first chimpanzee capable of operating a computer.

There are no governmental or non-governmental organizations anywhere in the world that so much as suggest that the NK nuclear programme was aided by the PRC; their nuclear (power) programme was first developed in the 1960s with USSR assistance, which was only after the US deployed nuclear weapons in ROK, and has since been indigenously weaponised. NK was not a starving wasteland before the 1990s that you seem to think it was. The DPRK was more developed than both China and SK in the 60s and 70s.
If NK is a PRC puppet, how do you explain the purge of the Yanan Faction by Kim Il-Sung? How do you explain the purge of the most important ally of China in NK, Jang Song-thaek and his followers? If you think that your Western tabloid world-view can stand up to scrutiny then please present a reliable source. How do explain the repeated insults traded between PRC and DPRK state media?

It's not evidence just because you think something is obvious.

You should blame the British Empire, Imperial Japan, and a bunch of other Western imperialists that invaded and carved up China instead. Their past behavior in China was the real reason that China refused to allow the so-called UN troops to occupy North Korean. During the Cold War, the relationship between China and North Korea actually deteriorated, and Soviet Union became a major sponsor of North Korea. China herself was also under Western embargo until late 1970s. So you should blame the Cold War for North Korea's backwardness until early 1990s. After the Cold War, without China's assistance, North Korean would go hungry and cold. Accusing China for North Korea being a Hermit Kingdom is like biting the hand that feeds her.
