Why the pylons if the aircraft is meant to be stealthy?Those twin pylons don't look to be very stealthy in my opinion.
They are certainly not stealth but 5th gen fighters have such small weapons bays they need the option to carry a bigger weapons payload. Its the same for f-22 and f-35 . They can be stealthy for some missions but able to carry lots of ordinance in other roles
Yes sir, and the SU-57 has a very thin fuselage cross section and even smaller bays than the J-20/F-22, or F-35.. so pylons will be the order of the day, after "first day ops" wrap up...

The "pixie dust" is to sprinkle liberally on the aircraft and engineers! I think I was noting that some of their expectations might go "unrealized", without the "pixie dust"??
