Star Wars & Sc-Fi Talk

okay so Sunday night They Dropped the Third episode of Star Trek Discovery. first we got to see the USS Discovery. I enjoyed it alot. The new ships is not TOS style but from what can be gathered Discovery is not quite a regular ship of the line. She seems to be a Flying Area 51. lots of Secret projects and intrigue.

Looks quite dark.. similar to ESB I suppose.I see a lot of folks getting killed. We know one will be killed off for sure. No state secret.

It does has a feel like ESB but it was weird to see the Millennium Falcon being piloted only by Chewey instead of with Han Solo. I do like the ship to ship battles and the new "battle of Hoth" with the new AT-AT walker.

They changed things up a bit though

Okay I just returned from Star wars The Last Jedi.
I am going to keep spoilers to a minimum.
Excellent film. very good production value.
If you are hoping to learn about Snoke though... Not happening.
Lots of Awesome moments and humor. The Film could I think stand as the end of the Starwars film line, Because it nicely wraps up Luke's story.

I'm assuming they slowly wrote out leia's character in this one? Not sure if you answering constitute a spoiler not.

They didn't kill off her character. Presumably the next movie will have her as taking on a more hands off off screen role in the new rebellion.
