Aircraft models

These are excellent scratch built models b787.

Can you go into how you typically build one of these?

Coming up with the dimensions. The material you are using. How you get the material to come together along the mold lines and how you are gluing it.

What you intend to do with detailing them. For example do you plan to build out the cockpits? If they are of standard scales (ie. 1/144, 1.72, 1/48, 1/32,etc.) there are a lot of after market details for almost any aircraft, including cockpits.

Anyhow, they look very good. Thanks for showing them

Thank you Jeff.

Well they are not specifically on any known commercial scale nor i use exact measurements
I usually make seats of the same size to use them as basic scale most fighters are around 1/72, but commercial jets around 1/120
Step 1 make seats

this is its current state, originally i was trying to make an Il-86 now I am trying to make a A-300, the challenge is try to make them look similar.

I use glue for paper, paper and a molding clay that hardens.

I do not paint them for two reasons. first i have toddlers at home, so i need to be careful with paints and related stuff.

The second reason is they are not as perfect as i would like i will show later a F-22 i made, i might make later a B-52
here is a Be-200

I think i need to smooth more their surfaces to paint them
