The first act of his presidency is to take the whole cabinet to the National museum o China
He is northerner but spend 22 year of his most adult life in the south (Fujian 17 yrs and Zhejiang 5 yrs)
He spend lifelong preparing for his ultimate job doing real job as administrator and not just talking

Traditional Chinese cultural value is one of respect for family, and children's education. Buddhism is a form of population control that takes out a certain number of men from the marriage pool, ensuring a more successful concubinage system, and enforcing polygamy. At the same time, it introduces a set of rituals that breaks up daily habits, and encourages dissidents to become monks.

Please become better informed before making such claims.

Women can also become monks in Buddhism, and the number of monks are so small compared to the general population, it would not make any difference to the demographics.

It also doesn't "encourage" dissidents to become monks. They only become monks when trying to escape the authorities.

I guess Christian monks support polygamy as well? Since Christian priesthood as a percentage form a larger number than Chinese religions.

The monkhood did attract many potential leaders of the people, who might otherwise cause unrest through unpopular opinions. It also serves as a relief organization to help those in need, and offer comfort to those with troubled thoughts. However, unlike the Church that fostered "book worship", scholarly debates about religious interpretations, and created an interest in faraway lands, the temple spread superstition and fostered a culture around ancestral worship.

Now you've gone too far. Catholic Church fosters scholarly debates while Buddhism spreads superstition? You have been reported.

Ancestral worship is pre Buddhism. You clearly have no idea what you ate talking about. And all religion is superstition of one kind of another. The poor join the monkhood for food and that is pretty much it.

Family altar is also prevalent with Japanese and Okinawan. In fact the Okinawan practice copy very closely the Fujianese tradition of having a pair of sugar cane on the altar. I doubt any urban Mainlander still maintain family altar except in the country side.

Another thing that the Baba kept is the family Genealogy
I know one lady who is the 35th generation of Tang general from Henan who lost a battle at the end of dynasty. And has to run for his life ended up in Fujian. They have association in Fujian that kept the ancestral home heavily supported by the Taiwanese branch of family. It is in PDF

The first hall in the house is the family altar in it they in script the cherished value of the house owner like Righteousness Integrity, Loyalty, Compassion

Still got a old family alter/clan house with a couple thousand ancestor tablets. I'm sure some of the bigger families descendent from famous people can trace it back. It is just 99.9% are from peasants without much history.
My mom side is descendants of Ogedei (cadet branch) and 赫舍里 clan, so records are very complete.
Dad side is supposedly from xiahou dun... But who knows... There were couple of books missing when I looked up the records.
