oops, out of the minimal amount of info I was able to read, I concentrated on the main gun (was glad to see what I believe would be the long-barreled variant of Mk 45), overlooked "DE" in the propulsion part, so let me see ... the 12-cylinders variant of two well-known diesels
to produce electricity for unspecified electric motors, combined with one well-known MT30 turbine (up to 40 MW) in an unspecified configuration which would be either CODLAG or CODLOG depending if both, or just one of D, G engines can be used ... just thinking aloud
what do the say about the integrated mast, radar(s)?
anyway if she obtained 32 VLS cells (the CG shows the space is available) and mounted those 8 AShMs, she would be pretty strong considering her displacement plus apparent ASW orientation ... no denying Type 054A parameters immediately came to my mind
Looks like someone took some excellent pointers from the Comanche. Both aircraft have beautiful designs.

As for the radar suite it doesn't say much but the most interesting point is that they are going to integrate a compound optic sensor within the mast.
It also talks about mine laying mechanism and will have both USV and UUV loaded.
It does not mention how many VLS cells will be mounted but considering the cost it would probably be 16 cells without SM-2.

It doesn't give any specific date but according to the MoD document they are going to sign a contract for construction next fiscal year so at earliest April 2018, but more likely sometime after September 2018.
The VLS will probably be loaded with ASROCs and ESSMs, it looks as if they are placing the AShM between the SeaRAM and the mast. You can see the two quad packs.
