OMG first day of school and I got good news already....
I got a job working as a model at a Hollister store!!!!!!!!!!

How does that work? Do you just stand in the store wearing Hollister clothes and looking good? If it is, that just might be the best job known to man or social animal.
I finished school in july 86 then did two years at college studying engineering, but I firmly believe the day you stop learning is the day they nail the lid down on top of you! Education is wasted on the young mostly, and places like this forum will in future form an important part of the education process.

Ah, art school. Sophomore year is harder. My earth science teacher is mad strict and most of my friends have different lunch periods!

Basically thats it, my main jobs are folding clothes, standing around, walking around, saying taglines, and talking to people shopping there.
A pretty big thing happened at my school tonight. The football team won the traditional yearly rivalry game against the other high school in town. They hadn't won for 15 or twenty years. The place went crazy! People came out of the stands and ran out on to the field, cars were going everywhere with their horns blaring...for you non-Americans out there, it may be a bit difficult to understand why we get so worked up about high school football, or high school sports in general (I don't know if they have many high school sports outside of the US). I don't even live in a football crazed area like Texas or Alabama, and there still everyone going crazy after the game. An interesting glimpse of American culture for you all.

Did you guys beat Esienhower or Mater Dei or some school like that? Thats' not normal for So.Cal's to gte worked up over High School sports.
Where I live here in Iowa these rubes get all in a frenzy over High Schoool sports. It's even on Tv..jeez. The funny thing is many of their teams could not even compete in California , Texas or Florida. Of course they don't know that.
Last years a So Cal girls volleyball team came here to be in a tournment and smoked all the Iowa teams. The rubes were astounded.

No no no, our football team could bever hope to beat Mater Dei or Eisenhower or Mission Viejo. Those games get televised sometimes. Our team is like Division 8 or something. (That's why water polo gets all the respect
) But that game is a huge deal because its against our rival school, and there's a whole tradition about etc etc. Our team hadn't won in years (twelve games I think) so everybody went crazy when they did. It was cool. Yeah...girls volleyball is pretty intense here. Our team wins CIF and stuff a lot. Spandex!
