Rio Santiago Shipyard (ARS) and South Korean business conglomerate Daewoo yesterday signed an agreement for the construction of two multipurpose vessel for the Argentine Navy with capacity to operate as landing dock, helicopter platform, command ship and hospital of high complexity.

One of the four “new” refurbished mini Russian polar Supply-class tugs of the Naval Prefecture.
NEFTEGAZ class, at a total cost of just over eight million dollars for all four.

Some of the final five flying A-4AR the rest could be made operational but there have been no funds made available since this aircraft type has less than five years of service life and the older airframes are being used for parts.
This is a shame since the little aircraft is very robust and could be refurbished to near zero hours. My opinion at least, any thoughts?

Well, I do not know if this is confirmed or not. However it seems that the FAA is in serious negotiations with KAI to acquire 30 single seat or 36 single and tandem versions of the FA-50.

The purchase of the 12 Mirage F-1 is still proceeding. Even if a deal is agreed to with KIA, since it will be five years before the first is delivered and seven to ten until the final one arrives. I imagine that FMdeA will build at least 50% to 60% of them.
