Chinese purchase of Su-35

OK guys, so the bet is set. Let's wait to see who's the one to say sorry. Deadline will be March 30, 2017 but I guess the answer is almost sure by the end of 2016.

I will readily admit that the deal is real should the Chinese ever officially announce taking reception of the aircraft and show them in offical PLAAF colors.

I will not apologize however. I have never said anything other than what is obvious...and that is that this deal has been announced many times, with many dates missed to the point where I will only believe it when the Chinese actually announce it. I feel no need to apologize for that.

But I will be happy to admit that the deal is real, and that my doubts of it ever happening were in error, should it actually happen.

Yes...and the more people are compelled to create such fakes to try and convince others that it is real...the less real is appears.

One day perhaps the PLAAF will write an article about taking delivery of the first PLAN SU-35s with pictures of them in PLAAF colors and a really nice, official write-up on them.

When that happens, I will be the first to say it is true and congratulate them on it.

I guess people have been paying attention to the SDF! Jeff and Deino have been saying that they won't believe it until they see the Su-35 in PLAAF insignia. So they PSed PLAAF insignia...

We should insist that we won't believe it until the Su-35 is coated in 24k gold...

I must say that from my reading through Chinese BBS, there are two group of netizens holding opposite extreme fetishes. On the one hand, ultra proud nationalists who bloat up Chinese capabilities. The opposite side always disbelieve Chinese capabilities and keep on finding evidence of Chinese copying, buying Foreign weapon technologies, their behaviors are called by other Chinese "(Foreign) father finding" for every Chinese systems. This second group are much larger in numbers than the first group even after so many recent revealings of Chinese development. Both groups use lying, fabrication (PSing) and missinterpretation to back their claims. Quit sick, delusional, it is a mental disease. I am speaking literally.
