Ehh? Its been political since 68 with the black power salute in the medal ceremony and the following african boycotts in montreal in 76,american led in, Moscow in80 LA/84 saw a moscow retaliation.

I think we should be more concerned with the obvious hypocrysy displayed by the I.O.C. with drug use by the atheletes.

Congrats to the PRC for topping the medals table in the Paralympics for the 4th straight games. :)

Boise State up on Utah State 24-3 in the 4th. Looks like they will go to 4-0 for the year.

... and did anyone see that Tennessee, Georgia finish?

WOW!

Tennessee goes up on yop with a touchdown with only a couple of minutes left. Everyone thought that was it. It put tem up 27 to 24.

...and then Geotgia drives the length of the field and gets a 50 yard tocuhdown with 10 seconds left to seal a win for them!

Now 31 to 27 with Georgia on top.

But one of the Georgia players celebrates too much and they get a fifteen yard penalty on the kickoff.

So, Tennessee just catches the ball at about the fifty yard line and with one play, line up throws it deep...and their guy goes up in a crowd of people and catches it and wins!

Three winning TDs witin two minutes at the end. It was amazing

Tennessee wins 34 to 31.

I saw the highlights and it was an amazing catch. Another great game was the Clemson vs. Louisville game. Two undefeated teams each with their own Heisman Trophy candidate QB slugging it out! In the end Clemson hang on and win it.

I used to hate them when they were part of the Southwestern and Big 12 conferences because of rivalries, but now I kinda root for them because they are the only Texas college team in the SEC.;)

LOL! Czech Rep making World News (it if wasn't from me, it would be country-bashing)

below I do NOT refer to Mrs. Ratajová or nothing:
there're so many Czech-soccer bribery and other scandals that even a play in theaters had (has?) been performed here (from what I know (I haven't attended it though) it's partly based on conversations made public when the people involved stood trial: they had been eavesdropped by Police for quite some time); the play is a comedy, but the whole situation isn't (or is? ROFL)
