Minesweeper Fleet, normaly good :
China have for a country with a long coast in fact enough few Minesweepers whose much small, Wosao 300 t and Type 6610 probably not very effective.
37 MS : 2 Type 6610 retired from 2013 and this year a new Type 082II Wosang
7 Type 6610, 600 t about 30+ years
4 Type 082 Wosao 320 t, 1987
12 Type 082I Wosao 320 t 1987+
3 Type 082II Wosang 600 t, 2005 + 1 in construction
4 Type 081 Wochi : 805/810-839/840, 900 t, 2007
6 Type 081A Wochi : 841/846, 1200 t, 2012
1 Heshan, 844, 2013

A little alone for talk about these ships which do less the buzz but usefull coz the mines are cheaper and remains dangerous...
Designated also 082II Wozang
Same hull number 811 for a Type 6610 based in this port, replaced now.
Then now remains normaly max 6 Type 6610
Lushun 11 Minesweeper Squadron which have 7 MS :
Type 6610, 812, 813 ; Type 082I Wosao, 820, 821 ; Type 081A Wochi, 845, 846 and the new Type 082B Wozang 811.
Had the Mine Layer Wolei transfered some years ago to Coast Guard.

Dalian naval base is mainly a administrative designation for several units based near of this city in fact homeported to
Lushun 11 Minesweeper Squadron which have 7 MS :

Very difficult for this class to know but i have see a full list in 2008 with 18 with about one retired by year 6 can make sense.

China now has modern mine hunting ships. they are not glamorous like DDG or FFG but important nevertheless

The ship with 600 tons of drainage controls a 529 type remote control minesweeping boat with three 100-ton drainage. And also equipped with two types of H / IJM-01 type underwater disposal equipment.
